I use the tool they use to calculate that. It’s a Weakaura and even that isn’t accurate it only counts people in LFG many people turn off LFG when not looking for a group.
No meaningful number of bene alli players will leave their 99-1 server to go to one where they’re the minority.
If anything more horde will rush to this server before they close it further worsening the imbalance.
We get it. You posted on an alt to just scold everyone for making a decision you don’t like because it doesn’t favor you. Move on.
Do they though? I was on Benediction and when it started queueing the weak aura showed 15,640 alliance. That seems like the vast majority don’t turn off LFG.
Yes. I do. Many others do. It’s not uncommon to turn it off. Just because on a megaservers where the numbers are insanely skewed does not mean it is the case for everyone.
I don’t want the spam from it so I just leave it (I know you can toggle it off)
They should if they want to claim they can PVP. Eranikus has been a blast. Summoning stones and hodir dailies can be ugly but you can eventually get done with what you need.
why would that matter? People auto join LFG. Most put it in it’s own window. I would guess less than 1% leave it.
Anything that is automatically joined can be annoying. People don’t like annoyances. Some people are just playing to level up and have fun. It’s really not that uncommon.
In fact leveling my alt I haven’t been in lfg once since I made it. It’s really not an uncommon thing to me or many others.
well the 30k people that are online on benediction and faerlina sure don’t and thats a much better sample size than you on a retail alt.
Just pointing out that moving your alli toon over to eranikus right now probably isn’t a good idea if you don’t want to be the minority faction on a pvp server.
Only people I am “scolding” are the ones saying this balance is fine, don’t worry about it, don’t lock the servers, everything’s good here.
Idk maybe I’m wrong and this will be the one magic server where the minority faction doesn’t bail ship and mass transfer off. Let’s check back in a month and see how eranikus turns out.
I’m not talking about retail i’m just posting on my retail main.
My whole one toon is going to be disappointed when it has to move. Why are you still attacking me? I conceded you don’t really care about balance. Move on.
lol no one leaves LFG. Who are you trying to kid?
I guess I am the lone person in the entire world who leaves LFG. You got me. I am unique. Very good argument.
A special snowflake for sure
Thank you very much for the kind remark.
Which means if the alliance want to fill up this server now is the time. Stop sitting on your hands. I welcome the alliance to outmatch us. I prefer to be the underdog. Even though it’s not the case and the server is balanced.
The closing of free transfers also means that the server is reaching capacity. If you plan on taking advantage of another Sulfuras server and be able to play and not sit in a queue while enjoying a healthy community and population. NOW IS THE TIME. Leaving links in this thread for those still on the fence:

Do not miss this opportunity. Seriously, alliance get in here. Horde get in here. I left the second link at 68 because I have met plenty of lowbies leveling on this server so you can get an idea of everyone heading to Northrend and everyone currently in Northrend.

This is not a huge difference.
Please come join us alliance and horde. We welcome all. Time is short!
I see plenty of alliance around.
There are a lot of alliance leveling mid-high 70s right now too.
Alliance seems to be behind on leveling overall.
Should have gone to Old Blanchy OP. similar alliance numbers to Eranikus… and you don’t have to deal with BS.
That same thing could be said of any other tool measuring any population in regards to wow. In fact wowclassicpop is probably the best because it shows concurrent players… meaning it could be 4000 players with 10 toons each or 40k accounts. It would be one or the other with no ambiguity about it.
For example, Eranikus peaks at 10k concurrent players roughly. While Old Blanchy has peaks of 6k players. However, both have peeks of 4-4.5k Alliance players… and by peak, I mean peak time each day.
This does however show what the OP is talking about with Eranikus being a 2h:1a situation at peak hours.
Making Eranikus actually more of 33% Alliance to 66% Horde feel despite the 71-80 unique characters showing a split of 42% Alliance to 58% Horde.
Getting no sense of unique accounts makes the data worthless since they can’t have more than one per account online
And what of my polls from the Weakaura? Can you dispute those too?
