Its still not gonna grow every week unless the premium items are dropping more. Whether you buy gold or not it doesnt guarentee you anything, particularly with how vanilla raid drops work. You could buy 10 million gold 4 years ago and still not have gotten DST today for instance. If you take the average of all GDKPs on Era ever since the resurgence 3 months ago I can guarentee you the average pots are going down every week, not up.
As one who doesnât buy gold nor runs AH Raiding, I can assure you, itâs pretty easy to make gold, in Classic.
Itâs tough in the beginning but easier as you go. Just be frugal and youâre golden.
Donât always train for everything. Only train what you need, to save gold. Please donât buy gear from the AH. Youâll outlevel it, literally.
IK the temporary spirit is nice from making your own fire but to help save up, donât buy the mats for it. Just use the kitchens in (almost) every inn or places with Cooking Trainers, near by.
Real easy to make and save gold.
Also, LOOT EVERYTHING!

The only reason those payouts are as high as they are is through bought gold. It is what it is but blizzard needs to police their game.

Many players have had 4 years of accumulating gold. Gold buying helps increase pots no doubt but so does longevity of time accumulating wealth in the game.

You do if you plan on buying gear through GDKPs yes. If you are just PvPing and buying consumes and have no need for gear upgrades than no.
The only reason to buy gold is to buy gear. I agree you are fine otherwise.

I was in that 88k tear run and was laughing because i bought a tear that same week on my warlock for 10k, and nobody bid me up, i just sent 10k as my first bid and was uncontested,

There is a potential whale in every raid.
