I was fortunate enough to get a libram of voracity and sold it for 400g. Still nothing compared to say, GDKP runs to buy a Bloodfang hood which I saw going for (posted) around 2k gold.
I’m barely halfway to that epic mount xD

Dang, that sounds fun.
You gunna get hexxed!
No they do not exist. I should not have to play on servers across the world and the RP ones are flooded with hardcore so they are unplayable. They are not solutions
The 10 west coast and 13 east coast pvp realms are on the same continent.
The ZG boosts are a perfect example of how it is inherently against the spirit of classic
Blizz needs to have a sit down with the developers of the “Bad Boy Addon” and integrate it into their own settings, so we can properly filter out the chat without needing to have to resort to the Badboy Addon.
That being said, I’d like to address some of your other points.
I’m not EST, yet I’m on an EST server.
There’s 3 non-HC Guilds on this server that I’ve spoken to and witnessed.
2/3 of them are RP Guilds and 1 is a Raiding Guild with a 29m roster that’s able to clear MC and is attempting some minor BWL. They want to collab with MY non-HC guild to get more non-HC membership.
There ARE groups there! You just gotta look REALLY hard or form your own one. Seemed like the minute I formed my own Guild or Guilds, I keep finding/running into OTHER guilds with my same or similar vision LOL
“I let the independent actions of others live rent free in my head just to complain for the sake of complaining” - The thread.
I bet you dont Vote IRL… right? c’mon you tell us. We wont laugh… much. lol
I know using an addon is a bandaid fix at best, but Global Ignore List has made era lfg chat actually useable. In just a few days /played time, I have filtered out 14,000 boost messages from my chat logs.
The addon can also be used to temporarily filter things you don’t want to see, such as purging all raid ads while you’re looking for a dungeon group, or vice versa.
Is this in response to me?
Incorrect equivalency.
Boosting does not at all match voting as I am guessing you are implying. If Jeff Hardy decided to purchase a boost it would in no way effect the play time of Jeff Gordon and his non-boosting leveling.
Now if you aren’t replying to me then feel free to ignore this and go about your day
Stay with me cuz it seems like a hard concept to comprehend.
The example you gave multiply that by thousands and you see how finding people for dungeons and elite quests might be difficult? If it were a few people… yeah, who gives a sh1t. But its not and its not good for the community on a hold.
The thing about boosting is that it does affect others. Why do 50-60 dungeons if you can just pay someone to level you from 50 to 60?
It creates a drought in that parameter and does make it difficult to find people to do those dungeons. I’ve noticed it myself that getting groups to do those dungeons are incredibly difficult, especially places like Sunken Temple.
It doesn’t take a lot of thought to think if many people boost between that bracket how it might impact the dungeons also in that bracket.
Hence why Blizz needs a “sit down” with either Global Ignore or Bad Boy to integrate THEIR filtering system, into Blizz’s Settings listing.
there is absolutely no issue with boosting itself the problem is RMT u can just get an addon to ignore post about boost if u really must. its a very nice way to level alts though, stop trying to ruin the way others enjoy the game
It couldn’t possibly be that the main “wave” of leveling has passed that area by could it?
Unneeded snark tbh.
You assume that everyone will just boost which, if you’ve played classic, you would know didn’t happen. Included my own snark, can we move past that now?
Some will boost, others wont. This is history, this is current. “Everyone will boost” didn’t happen before, though I do concede it was popular there for a minute, it did not flat out replace at level organic grouping. If anything the SoM changes increased organic grouping.
See my reply above. Boosting has not replaced organic grouping wholesale, as well blizzard introduced changes to combat this boosting fairly effectively.
IDK if I really believe that as I find WAY more fish in the sea, in THIS particular bracket compared to like 40 - 50.
And, you keep using
As an example.
When there are WAY more popular dungeons, within that bracket range, that people actually enjoy running.
Granted Scholo and Strat are on the “higher end” of the 50 - 60 spectrum, but it’s still in that same bracket.
BRD on the other has a LARGE level range.
ST is just NOT a favorable dungeon. Not even by me who can find groups easily.
I’d rather run Mara Waterfalls than ST, as I have the Staff. And, Mara Waterfalls isn’t as complicated (via as Mazey) as ST.
I merely use ST as an example, but there is an evident difficulty, at least for DPS, to get into 50’s dungeons.
I don’t think that poses the same issue for tanks and heals of course, but if someone who is a tank or healer boosts, that makes it even worse for dps to find groups who aren’t boosting.
Not in Era… in SoM yes. But not in Era. Boosting is 100% worst. Some of us are asking for SoM type nerfs to boosts.
How does one “boost” in this level bracket, anyway? It’s a lot higher than like SM, Stocks, Deadmines, etc. All the ones I’ve “boosted” in, for others, before. I can’t really see any other class but a Mage “boosting” in these dungeons, which I’m not skilled, at doing.
You talking about a level 60 lending out a helping hand? Do you have a level cap on these dungeons to be considered a “legit group” or something? LOL
