Obviously those items in the loot boxes ain’t good enough. I will only participate in bgs if they add in primal might, primal nether, blinkstrike, girdle of ruination pattern, 20 slot bags and also other epics.
Come make a character on Westfall then. I’ll start picking up the boxes just for you.
The box was supposed to be an incentive to get players who don’t normally PvP to queue up. Not a bonus for doing something you normally do.

It’s amazing that a thread about entitlement is created and aimed at Alliance.
It doesn’t get any more entitled than rolling on the over populated faction and then crying that math is still math in 2021 so much that blizzard breaks the game.

what an emotional extortionist you are lol, genuinely you are terrible, no one give a hoot about your little fantasy take of the matter, the FACT of the matter is the game needs faction balance, it was already known what would happen, they could have implemented measures to prevent the issue and they didn’t.
You however just demonstrate by your posting, you simply don’t want them to do anything, because it benefits you…if they make this stupid SFBG change. HORDE players made their bed, should they not by your own logic, suffer the consequences? eg long queues, low honor gains because of overpopping…that right there is a player made issue, because you all can’t help yourselves in this day and age of popularism.

Umm. The alliance was 55/45 in classic.

The loot boxes are just fine. About 5g on average is good as a side bonus when you pvp for fun, anyway.
If it was too high, then it would cause even more problems. I made like 120g over 2 days of bging and had a blast. Doesn’t sound like much, except it is free gold. Now you can bg all week and it will pay for that respec and some consumes.
Not sure why it keeps switching me back to my orc but whatever. A big problem with incentives like this is it is a balance between motivating people to play and not making it too much so people will abuse it.
One of the reasons av sucked in vanilla was all the raiders who just wanted the rep while hating the bg or just hating all of pve.
Also, I don’t want people being motivated to afk bot all day while at work so they can come home to 10 loot boxes worth a total of 400g every day
that’s right, the alliance SHOULD BE THANKFUL that bliz is banning them for opening the boxes they get, after all they get the preivlage to breath the same air horde players “the true players of wow btw” get to.

Everything you point out here is true in both factions.
These things are also the reasons why I feel racials and maps make no difference in the chaos if battlegrounds. The team that wins happens to have less morons. This is why folks want their pre-made teams. It gives them a distinct advantage.

I never said I was rerolling. I’ve played Horde ever since OG TBC, and I’m not switching.
That said, if Blizz wants to give me free loot for doing something I would have already done without said free loot, I wouldn’t complain about.
Incentivizing players who don’t pvp to pvp would require blizzard to offer rewards, that en mass, would destroy the server’s economy, or gear players exceedingly too fast. Get money and some raw resources, but that’s not enough, so what is? More amount of the raw resources, like a full stack of Terracones, or consistent Living Rubies? Or is that not enough as well, and players need BoE blues that sell for less than those resources, so let’s up it to BoE epics. You, as an Alliance player, tell me, a Horde player who would gladly take some Netherweave to replace my used bandages, and some silver to cover the wear and tear of my gear in pvp, what it would take for your people to actually pvp.
In my mind, there is no way to balance an incentivization for pvp, as you’ll get almost nothing which will be scoffed at, or a consistent means to make gold which would accelerate inflation, or an even faster way to gear for pvp which would be inherently unfair as resil gear is big pog.
“Hey guys can we not sit in hour long queues to just be stomped into the ground by a premade. Like, we don’t even care about the premade part, we just want to be able to play BGs instead of hunting down Alliance since we have no real means of farming honor.”

The wow community is a cesspool it’s been like that for a while, especially on the forms or reddit.
People are borderline mentally ill in this game these days, it’s very entertaining though, unfortunately majority of the games problems are a result of the player base, not the brightest community, cry about everything, they play a classic era of the game but beg for retail changes, rather than playing retail or rolling on pvp servers and crying about pvp but won’t play on pve servers.
Just mind boggling stuff, reason why lot of people are tired of wow and it’s bad community and seek other games.

Bro you can read minds? That’s pog. If you read my mind, you’d see that I rolled Horde because I think Alliance is cringe, and chose Undead because I prefer Undead aesthetic over buff pickle and skinny pickle. I would have went cow if I could but alas I can’t.
