They practically wrapped me in a secluded bubble today when voting. They left no chance of anyone knowing what I voted in NY.

They have this tendency to turn to the person next to them and say, āI need a democratic ballot, pleaseā when Iām giving the poll worker my information. And suddenly the whole place turns and stares angrily at you. Iām an extreme minority where Iām at.

Voter intimidation is against federal law, in a day and age where everyone and their mom carries a recording device of some sort this sounds outlandish.

I mean, itās a bunch of elderly poll workers who are lucky they still remember their names out in a barn doing voting stuff in the middle of nowhere farmland. They donāt think of these things. They just needed a ballot from the other pile.

Just from my own perspective, Texas is a very, very, very hostile place to be sometimes. At others times, it can be sweet tea sugar sweet kindness. o.O

Been so long since Iāve had one of these! Such a great combo 
TBH I would prob tell them to f off and Iām not joking. If they want to shoot me on camera in front of 300 witnesses, have at it. I saw nothing like that in the battleground state that I voted in this morning. Everyone was nice and calm and I put my ballot in the intake slot thing and got my cool sticker. This was in a large-ish city for the area.
I guess anyone can stand anywhere to a point. But you also have to just go be a citizen and vote.

Wow, thatās strange. We have one ballot. Everyone gets the same one. You can vote all Republican, all Democrat or split your ticket. Seems safer that way.
