do you realize how old his video is and was pretty much on release of bwl and that majority of the new logs are people with higher gear now that you are compairing to, he still logged top dps on the fights when he ran that run, yes he wont be performing the best always but he still made it work, he wasent completely useless he still pumped

I approve of this message! In an RPG you should be able to build your character they way you wish (of course following some guidelines) It doesnât make any sense to be able to equip it but not use literally any abilities.
As a Draenei, I want to use a bigger weapon, not small brass knuckles. My Hammer of The Naaru needs to be dusted off. Empowering my weapon with the fury of the Elements to bring wrath upon my foes.

If you arenât arguing the viability angle, you donât have to continue this line of conversation. Sometimes it seems you are, and sometimes it seems you arenât, so I canât tell. However, if you ARE going to try to keep it up, at least bring some sort of numbers to the table instead of handwaving and essentially concluding âTherefore it was viableâ. At best, youâre admitting that Enh didnât scale at all with gear as a tier progressed, as heâs cleared BWL 8 times and those are his top numbers.
Everyone is always âcool, more choiceâ until they realize they canât choose it without being ostracized from pug content, then the people who said âcool, more choiceâ fade in the background and a bunch of other people come to the fore with posts that say âmake my choice viable, no one accepts me to raids/M+â.

this post wasnât intended on the means of will 2h enhance perform as well as others will it be top this top that, people just want choices, let them have it Iâm sure with frost and monks there will be a superior build which will favor 1 type of playstyle, it could be the same way for shaman, who cares let them have it and let the player choose. your to focused on being the best

We are also getting Flametongue weapon imbue. So we are most likely going back to the Windfury/Flametongue on the Mainhand/offhand system.
This means not only will 2H Feel weaker if they donât adjust mealstorm weapon procs, but will feel weaker in general thanks to the lack of flametongue weapon.
Thatâs not the point nor does it matter. Example letâs say that the duelwield buff with those buffs on does 30k dps while two handed with 1 buff does 25k dps. All blizzard then does is buff two handed dmg with the aura by 5 to 4 or 6 % then it does equal dmg.
you turned it into a NO enhance 2h will not perform well nobody will want it in m+ and raids donât do it! but you forget the aspect of people wanting to play their toon the way they want to. the same can be said about monks and death knights. " oh you are a 2h frost you donât perform as well as a duel wield im sorry I donât want you". just give people the choice lol, and like sarolyn said it wouldnât take much tuning to make up for 2h

I mean, we all know mechanically it may be difficult to balance or will need tweaks to make it work but thatâs no real reason to not included it. That said, itâs obviously something to consider but I think thereâs no real harm in asking for it back.
They can do it and itâd be a great boon for us to have such a wonderful option again.

Flame shock. Frost shock. Instant lightning bolts and chain lightnings. Elemental blast as a talent. Searing totem and interactions with it. Seems to me like our damage is being shifted away from stormstike spam. Would make some big ole 2 handers whacks in between seem like fun.
If it doesnât take much to tune specs/classes, why does a disparity persist for so long in PvE? Eventually they do X% buffs, but often they seem to leave specs out, or it doesnât really seem like enough to matter. Relying on Blizz to just turn the knobs has failed for so many expansions, Iâm surprised itâd be brought up as a valid argument.
When it comes to prioritizing man-hours developing the expansion, basically everything else will be higher priority for me than work put in to enable a weapon configuration so you see âa few 2h enhance running around in the open worldâ.
Honestly, I was originally just arguing why it wonât happen, not that I wouldnât like to see it. If they made it viable Iâd be 2H in a heartbeat. I donât like to make unreasonable demands though, and to me, 2H for Shaman is fundamentally different than 2H for other classes/specs.

Itâs not unreasonable it take no effort to put it in. They can easily do it of enough people ask for it. This is the time to ask for it so donât be against or pessimistic about the Choice being added. It wouldnât take away from the art team or anything they could he like hey intern here is the code to go add go the shaman abilities so they can use two handers.
