Enhance PvP changes we need

I feel like a lot of classes are a expansion or 2 ahead of enhance in pvp. We use to have crazy damage to carry us but we dont even have that anymore outside of Ascendance, no MS to keep pressure up. Our mobility and defensive are pretty trash too. We have to give up damage to heal which is fair with the heals we have but is terrible for dampening. We need the pally treatment for once. Give us extra range on our attacks and maybe give astral shift a lower CD or 2 charges and make it useable while stunned? Even stone bulwark totem seems to be usless now with the damage everyone does this season its good for one bug crit and has a 3 min CD. I love the playstyle so I dont want it change too much just want some QoL changes. Also give me back old tremor totem that i can use while feared.

I think that’s one things that’s overlooked a lot but enhance is soo susceptible to all forms of cc. Yeah we have tremor and grounding but that’s all preemptive and leaves a lot of room for error.

Once in a cc there’s almost nothing we can do and cc has never felt more oppressive. Often enh just can’t play the game and nothing is more frustrating than that. Other specs get training wheels for this (bladestorm, warriors can break a fear IN A FEAR, conduit, bubble, etc.) and we’re stuck trying to play 4d chess to ground a single cc.

I love our spec fantasy, the play style and dmg rotation but like u said, everything else feels waaaay outdated. The ironic thing is even the outdated stuff is better than what we have now. I.e. old tremor, old windrush, etc.

what heals do you have that can keep up with the dps output of any current class?

NONE

the core design of enh IS TERRIBLE period.

the class has too much gating of dps skills by other dps skills that doent do anything to sub bossess to main bosses to players in pvp.

TOO LONG to achieve meaningful damage on this class.

the class, unfortunately is not just poorly designed, its horrifically designed.

The last time I enjoyed playing ENH as in classic with 2h Windfury.

It’s true, all blizz has to do is look at class representation. There is a reason why there are tons of boomkins, warriors, rets and ranged hunters (at least in BGs) but basically no enhancement shamans, survival hunters or outlaw rogues. The cc and micro CC, permanent snares and intense burst make it so any class/spec that can’t deal with them is dead in the water. It’s why I refuse to play most melee classes these days because only a couple of them are viable with any real impact.

Yea you’re right about the heals. They are sh*t. I can survive dencent in WPvP with them but they’re usless in arena or bgs if you have more then one person on ya. Not sure where the rose coloured glasses comes from 2hander though, just white hit stuff and hope for a WF proc to delete someone wasnt a good design either but i would totally take a 2hander build if it meant they were actually loooking at the class for once. Its fun right now it just needs a hell of a lot of fixing, all defnsives are way too long our 3min stone bulwark is gone in one hit pretty much and its our biggest defensive. Not sure why blizzard can’t seem to figure this out, its kind of what we pay a sub for.

honestly annoys me that u cant tremor while feared like u can in cata/mop/etc, its fine for ele that can spread, its a slap in the face to enh the same way having 0 way to instant cast hex for enh is. 45sec cd, cleansable by multiple classes (dps and healers), ur a melee, i hate the idea of melee casting. then the new tier set being 33% effective and on ptr the 2 set ascendance proc lasts 2 seconds cause of it so u get 1 ascendance global, better hope u were pressing SS alrdy. Enh just getting slapping over and over.
