You added more buttons to push with the new talent trees. Stone bulwark, increased utility spells and rotational spells. A button press survival button was the worst choice blizzard could of made. It should have been passive or altered an existing ability.

Reincarnation and earth elemental already exist and either could have been updated to a proper defensive but nope we got a new totem lol. It’s whatever at this point. I’ll take it.

There’s new rotational spells? Do you mean the bug with Lava Burst not getting replaced by Elemental Blast? Because that’s a bug.
It really didnt add much honestly. My buttons are pretty much the same. I kinda of change out my utility for fights a lot so this just gave me a more solid state build. The new totem is better then some folk think.

There is because you have access to more pts in your build.
What are you going to take? Ascendance? Doom Winds? No, you’re not.
At best it adds one rotation button assuming you even take it. Elemental builds are going with Windfury weapon, and Storm are mostly just adding Lava Lash back to their bar.

I’m with you. Though I don’t think any of the additions are bad, more keybinds definitely wasn’t ideal. I play on steam deck and I’m starting to run out of buttons lol
One thing I’m doing that helped is I’m macro-ing totemic recall to stone bulwark as a cast sequence. It limits ur totemic recall but I would probably mostly use it on bulwark anyways.
I had an extra button on my mouse for windrush so that wasn’t too bad.
In terms of rotational skills. Even adding one button takes some getting used too. Especially on a key bind heavy high apm spec like enh. I want to run a hybrid storm build with hailstorm and a naked pwave. it’s definitely a lot to keep track of. Optimizing ice strike/ hailstorms, keeping flame shock up with lava lash, keeping ur crash lighting aoe buff, all while trying to mash the ever living crap of storm strike and using ur spenders is starting to hurt my hands. I use weakauras to track it all and that helps a lot but I still find myself overcapping maelstrom or overriding my hailstorm buffs.
I guess elementalist already has all these but I feel like it plays a bit slower so it’s a little easier to keep track and optimize.
I use cast sequence macro to combine Ice Strike and Frost Shock into one keybind.

That’s being very generous. There is no plan to fix it. Shaman and especially enhancement clearly has no plans. The Dev’s have no idea what to do with the class. They are unable to admit they loaded up a bad patch they certainly are not going to admit they have no bloody clue what to do with Shamans and they certainly are not going to admit they keep forgetting enhancement is even a spec.

Sorry to report, but they have adjusted stone bulwarks base cd to 3mins on beta. This change means it no longer functions with recall.
I knew that but I thought recall was 3 min or less. I’m probably wrong though. Bummer
They did buff it so now its like a 40% absorb initially with the smaller absorbs being like 10% of your health. It hella stronger now.

It is a bummer, but as yeasty said, its been buffed a lot, proper cd now. Which is good because now with wall, sbw, burrow, we should be a lot more tanky. It also allows us to use recall on a better totem.

I’m really hoping they change this. I can’t imagine any other classes 3 min defensive being completely destroyed by an instant cast spell.
