WHY our talents tree is still broken with 2 points node everywhere where its been told that it was changed to a 1 point node ?
WHY Stormstrike Damage doing less damage than any resto druid DPS abilities ?
WHY Ascendance is still a 3 min CD ? with an animation and VFX that has less attention than a regular mob in the field ?
WHY are you satisfied with current ENH Talent Tree ?
WHY do we have 4, or 5 new abilities to keybind when EVERYONE Saied ENH was too much abilities to keybind compared to other SPEC ? Totemic Recall , Wind Rush Totem , Skyfury , Stone Bulwark Totem âŠ
WHY our damage is like 3x less than what ELE or DK does ?

You have to remember that youâre playing Blizzardâs vision for any given class. While the player base can offer endless suggestions, Blizzard makes the final call in how a Class works. In the end, itâs only a tuning issue if a spec is failing despite how it plays.
Some of their decisions are non sensical to me at this time. But we have to live with what Blizzard wants to give us. Which again, Blizzard felt that Shaman was and is the most perfectly designed class in how it functions. Yet, the majority of the specs (or meta specs) are simplified and front loaded with less effort.
Thereâs a lot of unresolved suggestion from the player base on things that havenât been addressed by Blizzard. And realistically, wont, based on their beta patch notes.

This was explained when blizz launched the pre patch they said it wouldnât be with the latest beta version of the tree, and since blizz had only just launched those changes on beta

Bc itâs actually pretty decent, we donât have to take awful talents to get to good ones like most other specs in the game

bc they received reworkes earlier in the beta so they got most of their changes in pre patch and we are bugged not having 2 stacks of EB

Isnât the elemental blast still broken too?
Add on to your stormstrike damage thing. There literally is a damage type called stormstrike, which is physical/nature. So why is our âstormstrikeâ only a physical attack? Rename it or give it its proper damage type.

I been pretty much subbed through all of last 3 xpacks. Logged in almost every week this xpack to clear heroic. Whatever we got an old talent build.
But Elemental Blast not having 2 charges is absurd. I have no desire to play at all until this gets fixed.
This is the answer ⊠a true shaman endures the pain and is stronger for it.

It is, but hardly a reason not to play. A simple macro helps fix the issue.

/castsequence reset=12 Elemental Blast, Lava Burst
This gives you both on the same bind. Ele balst first, then lava burst. If for whatever reason you donât cast lava burst on 12 seconds, it resets to Elemental Blast.
Obviously itâs not ideal, but it helps.
Try playing a feral druid in pvp right now if you think you got it bad.
They added fluid form, but the catch is if you are not in range (or have a target), you will not switch to the form you want. So even if you an enemy player is 1 yard away from your melee range, you will not be able to shape shift. Now imagine being snared a few times and needing to do all that shapeshifting. There are obviously ways around this but it feels very clunky.
It feels totally awful.
Only consolation is you can still play the oldschool way with all the macros, but the catch is the global cooldown will still be an issue.
In other words, donât bother with feral in pvp right now unless you liked the old way of doing things with the extra global cooldown setback
Fluid form has potential, but they need to make it truly more fluid otherwise nobody will stick with feral. Iâll see if there are newer macros to work around it, but Iâm not holding my breath. Iâll probably just switch back to enhancement.
Itâs actually mind boggling why they canât bring the Beta version of Enh talents onto live.

I think the issue is that enhance was in an ok spot, not great in DF towards the end. The changes on the beta were a great move in the right direction. But for some reason, they broke the class and didnât put in the latest changes and now its slightly worse than it was BEFORE the changes. Yeah, you can do the cast sequence. But then you are losing out on damage, as blast hits much harder than lava burst as enhance. Plus you lose on the extra stats that elemental blast gives you.
I agree itâs not optimal. It is however short term. None of these issues exist on beta. We are at the end of an expac and the difference in single target dps would be minimal. No one is getting sat because of the current issue, if your raids dps requirements are so tight that you not having ele blast is causing you to not kill bosses, there are far bigger issues at play.
Again, it sucks, and I donât understand why they didnât push the changes to live servers, but itâs not reason enough to stop playing personally.
I actually where interested in Shaman gameplay recently, before the patch, and looked at Elemental and Enhancer.
Elemental feels at its base the exact same as it had in Legion. Was there something changed between Legion, BfA, Shadowlands, Dragonflight and presumably now WW? If so enlighten me.
Enhancer has the exact same issue. Correct me if I am wrong, but you basically hit Flame Shock, Lava Lash, Stormstrike and Crash Lightning and thatâs it? Unless you specced into Ice Strike.
Elemental at least has that mechanic with Maelstrom where you can push Earth Shock or Earhquake.
Why does the Paladin get so much love over all those years, compared to Shaman? No wonder you barely see Shamans running around anywhere but compared so many Paladins.

Oh I know itâs temporary. Iâve been here in one way or another since the vanilla beta. Just itâs bad enough in this temporary state that I wonât bring my shaman. And I donât raid, mostly just PvP. So for now, I play Rsham or an alt. Just sucks that itâs this broken.
