Flame Shock management isnât a thing anymore beyond making sure its up and ticking.
Lashing Flames isnât taken currently.
So, by unlinking the shocks, you no longer have to choose between waiting and potentially wasting a stack of Hailstorm or letting your Flame Shock DoT fall off.
This lowers the skill of the class, yesâŠbut this change allows you to get rid of ice strike.
Elemental has way more dot management to deal with, and currently has the shocks unlinked, and it feels good and fun.
Lol, it seems I took all the talents that everyone hates, but I love the playstyle. Found my own use for Ice Strike and I love it. If they changed anything Iâd be fine with that, I can adapt.
AND a crappy legendary power to go with those terrible talents. Boy, you really wanna make sure your dps sucks huh
I have Doom Winds, I just donât use it for questing. And I run with friends, and we donât do cutting edge content, so slow your roll there Joey.
That right there is the problem nothing competes with doom winds right now due to the fact its one of the only legendries that does not force the use of an ability or is just bad I have tried and tried to use other legendries because I hate doom winds with a mad passion.
Crashing storm must be the talent that needs the strongest buff of all. Like seriously how itâs that useless ahahaha.
In the pvp scenario, no one could care about standing on it, the damage is just so minimal
If they made earthen spike an aoe it would make crashing storm competitive same with storm keeper.
Though they will need to do something about doom winds because that would then become out of control âŠ

Well, some one flagged my post calling crashing storms useless and how it needs to be raised from 18% of attack damage over 6 seconds to 35% of attack damage over 6 seconds to even compete against sundering.
Flagging isnât downvoting (not saying you did). Crashing storms atm doesnât compete at all with any of the talents in the row since it is just so weak at the moment.
Nah, it still wouldnât be competitive. Earth spike increases nature damage by 20%. So if you had 100 attack; crashing storm would do 18 damage base and then 22 damage with earthen spike. It would be a pathetic amount of increase damage since it already hits like a noodle.
Them (blizzard) buffing windfury damage from 20% in beta to 35% basically killed all other legendaries.
As of right now with a mastery build with earthen spike, crashing storm does about the same damage as sundering just not on a burst and punished by movement. On a single target.
Though right now sundering procs wf and is a burst so it would even need more then a earth spike aoe and a 35% of ap to actually be of any value

Torghast made me realize how bad some of them are.
You get that ability where you can get a second one on the row, and after getting it, Iâve often been like âI donât really like thisâ or âthis isnât doing muchâ and sometimes you a different perk instead!
I think people donât appreciate Cap totem enough. Talented, I have it up AT least every other pull. This thing gives the entire party a few seconds to get adjusted and gives the healer a moment to get everyone topped off.
Way under appreciated ability and talent.
An interesting ability would prob be on the row as hail storm or replace a final row talent.
If your target is affected by frost shock and you frost shock again you stun the target,
if you flame shock a target that is affected by frost shock you cause the target to take a strong dot
if you flame shock a target affected by flame shock the flame shock spreads to 2 additional targets
if you frost shock a target affected by flame shock the target erupts dealing aoe damage
would make a very very fun talent
This would also bring value to other covs out side venthier for atleaste night fae and necro lord.
as the flame shock spread would allow for better necro lords ability casts.
and the increased value of mastery would improve night fae
Really dig the idea behind that talent mock-up, thatâs pretty sweet. Though, I will say, that it would essentially be a must-have at that point, lol. Still, that would be a really cool mechanic to have.
as it stands right now there are no choices in talents have to make something to even compete with doomwinds/ascendance build lol
Just waiting on that doomwind nerf to give players meaningful lego choice.
lol doom winds is the only thing keeping us in the middle of the pack right now nerf it and we are gone. Everything else needs to be buffed to = it
Blizz giving shamans variety of buffs to make us relevant and interesting? Thatâs a good one.
I think the last time blizz gave enh shamans a reason to be in a group was back in cata when we could heal stacked groups with healing rain.
Would be nice to see the return of healing rain for enh. As then we would have a raid defensive and a reason to hold a slot in a raid groupâŠ
