little late to PTR but is this a joke? the items are barely better than MC, the class epic is a freaking shield that is either to tank or ele. tell me this is a joke. im doing nearly the same dps in full BWL gear right now in mc gear and deathbringer.

Not only that but also only do about the same damage in P5 bis as P4 bis because of the T1 6 piece nerf.

Excellent equivalency. Frost mage, Arms Warrior and Subtlety Rogue should definitely be a high priority for PVE balancing, definitely on the same level as Enhance. It’s not like all of those specs have 1 or more alternatives on the same class that also use most, if not all, the same gear. It’s also not as if those specs have amazing PVP streangth, and if a bunch of sustained DPS was added on top of it no problems would occur.

huh? arms is the worst pvp spec in the game. Worse than all other classes pve specs. Shaman has 5 ways to play the game lol. tank 1h enhance 2h enhane ele resto
ret is insane in pvp and also a top tier pve raid dps spec… while having insane survivability and utility. Aggrend plays ret though, so no wonder.

He swapped to horde during phase 2, iirc it was to an rdruid. He only leveled up his paladin at the very last week of a leveling phase.
he mained ret in WOTLK then buffed ret and feral to #1 and #2 dps in a classic version of the game (lmao). In SoD he posted a twitter screenshot of him getting a 2h axe in molten core and he’s playing ret paladin. So, naturally, ret is busted in SoD.
Funny a hunter hits me harder melee than I can hit him and he is wearing mail and I am full t1 plate with onslaught & lionheart helm
imagine being a melee hunter this phase.
Nothing new here, enh is trash since phase 3 nerfs.
Game is balanced around rogues, they need to be top PvE spec and their Stun lock cant have counterplay for PvP.

I like how some of these Shamans are posting on their Alliance alts to avoid being flamed for the amount of trolling they did on the forums when Shamans were OP and needed nerfs.

Im not. DW is falling off due to the mechanics it scales with. Crit has decreased value above 25% base & Int>AP>SP conversion pipeline has taxes at both conversion stages BEFORE considering the SP coefficient taxing the result a third time which blunts scaling, this is going to be a larger issue as time goes on and gear scales.
2h has the exact same problem and ON TOP OF THAT the lack of a second AP scaling attack. 2h uses Lava Burst, which ONLY scales with SP, which means its scaling will fall off even harder than Lava Lash scaling will. This means that not only will 2h fall off compared to other DPS, but the gap between DW and 2h is going to widen again.
That alone is going to cause both Enh specs to slowly circle the bowl, ending up near or below the tanks by Nefarian & Hakkar and down with the Arms warriors by mid-AQ. Funny thing is, i expect by Skeram that Enh tanks are going to start running into threat issues because GUESS HOW THEIR SCALING WORKS.

Well I must sincerely apologize to you because the amount of vitriol for Shamans on this forum runs deep.
Might be best to submit a ticket. There’s not a lot of love for both Shamans and Paladins on here.
Just cancel SoD and start a classic fresh.
