I think it kind of stopped being fun once all the conspiracies were basically proved true.

âBlizzardâs affectation for the Horde leads to really uncomfortable situations that ultimately make playing the Horde, despite said attention, really awful sometimesâ was also a fun argument until Blizzard pretty much forced the entire Horde playerbase to be complicit in genocide.
NowâŚI mean, we can argue about them, if we want? But it feels a little pointless.

Are we sure those were ever the sources of debate? The Alliance being lame and the Horde being an out of control flame hasnât exactly been a disputed opinion since uhâŚ. Wrath?
I mean sure, theyâve doubled down on those fine qualities over the years, but Garroshâs new Horde and Varianâs new Alliance arenât all that different than what weâve seen in every expansion since the world update of Cataclysm, and since those leaders really rose to prominence.
Oh, yeah. Weâve had all kinds of depraved debates around here. Some of the posturing around the Teldrassil thing got quite all-caps.

We had a lot of spirited fervor around Jaina being justified in purging Dalaran, too, so I take your point.
We all need to do some geometry and summon the âangry at shapesâ guy itâs been a couple of years since he popped in. We have the usual clown show of varsity snacks and the homophobic hunter with dissociative identity disorder but they are just lame in general so itâs best to not even engage with their level of stupid.

My favorite was the rotating cast of Blood Elf Males who began as somewhat rational, if high-strung, and ended by declaring that our server was a pit of sin and he was charged by god to cleanse it.
Always Blood Elf Males for some reason. Always that specific kind of meltdown.

I havenât played WoW in almost two years. None of this matters, itâs just about opinions over a video game that took most of its lore from other properties.
I think the Night Elves are more of a fascistic culture than Orcs and only have the acceptance of it because they are âprettierâ

I guess I can kind of see it? In that allegedly the Night Elves are matriarchal and the social structure is highly regimented. Orcs believe strength rules all, but thatâs also a pretty open-ended invitation.
The only problem I really see with it is that the Night Elves are so inconsistent (ie: how Tyrande, the Matriarch, always ends up deferring to whatever male is around) itâd be hard to pin down their political views.
