There’s nothing wrong with solo content. The issue is that people that only play solo content need to realize endgame isn’t designed around them and they are the second smallest minority in the game.
Questing, leveling, crafting, exploring, roleplay, to name a few.
Do you even do any of that?
Back that up.
These are all part of the same thing: leveling.
You can do that now. Also, not sure what kind of crappy roleplay you are doing by yourself lol.
So once again, please list all of the solo activities players had. Keep in mind, TBC Classic is right there so it shouldn’t be hard. People keep saying there were more things to do solo back then.
WoW player that act like WoW is the end all be all of MMORPGs. Whats your history before WoW?
Like I said many of us were burned out on MMORPGs before WoW came out, its why we came to Hello Kitty MMORPG. Why be a try hard in a kiddies game? Were you a teen who could no life?
Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Earth Beyond, FF11, etc.
Not sure how many you wanted, getting hard to remember them all lol.
I was in college. I got in because I knew how to read.
Cool what classes. EQ- shaman and Paladin. SWG - creature handler, musician and dancer.
Cool on the community college. I got into university and I could do more than just read the words. i learned to read the intent and meaning behind the words
You seem to have your mind made up so I’m not going to waste effort debating with you.
I disagree with your opinion that solo activities should not exist. They keep a significant number of players, including myself, in the game.
Good day.
Hell if I remember, I only dabbled in EQ, I was more interested in doing things with friends in highschool lol. Galaxies I was mostly a crafter. I had a storefront on Naboo. I remember having to find and set up mining operations all over the place.
Pretty sure I didn’t say community anything. Which Clown College did you attend?
Sadly, many forum goers I know seem know this person, they seem to have a rep amongst us that they just like to be contrary and rude for attention. Its why I dropped out earlier …
What debate? You said there were a ton of solo activities so I just said to list them. Once again, TBC Classic is right there so it shouldn’t be hard lol.
Should also point out, since it’s NOT explained in game well and generally missed, once you unlock Altonian Understanding under the Aealic section, you get access to the Jiro daily quests and Olea Manu.
He hangs outside of Exile’s Hollow (right of the teleporter) and sells stuff from Cyphers. DEFINITELY worth getting the Improvised Cypher Analysis Tool that boosts cypher gathering by 50% for 150. It’s BoA, so it can be sent to any alts that are farming them.
Would help, if cypher currency dropped in raids like cosmic crap, and rep token things do. Especially for alts. Who doesn’t have like at least 20k cosmic flux lol.
True there are 4 year colleges, but none that go above undergrad. Yeah it was a dig…
I call them all college lol. Constantly saying University all the time just makes you sound like an uppity prick.
Questing has changed significantly. It’s streamlined and effortless. There is no progression system involved and it scales. It’s not the same thing it was. But it did used to be THE game, everything else existed around it.
With the watering down of the game, endgame is all there is left to really do.
Classic wasn’t full of activities. It was leveling. Nobody is saying otherwise. But leveling was a very fulfilling activity.
Until Shadowlands titanforging turned everything into a solo activity. This existed from the end of WoD. No matter what I did or where I was in the current expansion, I had something to get from a play session.
But until Legion leveling was still a big activity. It’s not anymore. It’s quick and value-less until you reach max level.
It doesn’t really matter, however. You feel that solo play shouldn’t be a thing. It is, but you don’t believe it should be. So of course you don’t want to see it remain competitive with the rest of the market.
Your opinion has been noted, luckily the WoW devs don’t feel the same way. They’re just not that great at creating it.
Hmm I dont read, but I know how to properly speak…
I went to University. I earned the title so I use it.
You didn’t earn any titles lol.
Literally the dude arguing with me said otherwise lol.
Sounds like a Liberal arts “College” that costs 100K a year and majored in gender studies. Home on a monday? At least I said I am old and disabled - I have an excuse
