End the war on solo gameplay in WoW

Nice job not reading.

I believe you could get something like one purple per rep at exalted but those didn’t improve as the expansion progressed. The original dungeons I believe also only dropped purples off the last boss, was mostly blues if you weren’t raiding. I’d be surprised if the difference between Ulduar gear and dungeon gear in Wrath was less than the difference between 233 Korthia gear mythic gear.

Seriously, how much smaller do you think the game should be shrunk than it already has? You keep whining and crying and throwing tantrums about those “bads”. What percentage of players should remain in your fantasy dream version of wow that only contains currently verified top players, and who will pay for your content?

Hey. He already said that any post or thread he disagrees with doesn’t even exist. He is not a reality based poster.

Project much?

I don’t care who pays for the content. I care about Blizzard putting out a product I care to play. That’s it. It isn’t my job to worry about financing or to worry about other players.

Your use of the word “need” has triggered the forum rage defense network

“You don’t need to breathe air, you can always just choose to die”.

This was never solo game play. You basically need raid gear to do it. Give us a mage tower with only 2-4 sets of gear templates for each spec. That way it would be accessible.

You don’t need raid gear to do it. That has already been shown by other players.

Better gear obviously helps, but it is not required.

What you need is patience, determination, and a fundamental understanding of the mechanics of the encounter as well as your class mechanics.

You don’t need this since you play classic, just saying.

Except, this is, and always was a business, and as such there needs to be a market for what you want. If you don’t like what the game offers, you are allowed to suggest changes, but that’s never a guarantee that it would be added due to profitability, just saying.

Standard bliz design tunneling players into manual grouping because the pressure to buy cash shop shortcuts is highest there

It is a telling demonstration that they don’t care that much about players not buying gold

Manual grouping social pressure to buy shortcuts to have a higher chance of getting into groups

Bliz knows their cash shop demographic and they don’t care about designing for player value

For me, it is about the integrity of the game.

Equitable rewards. Not hand outs.

promptly hands Blizzard $20 for an item that can be sold on the AH for gold

Just following your example. You constantly whine about having to tolerate “bad players”. What are you on? I want to avoid taking that.

But you expect Blizzard to continue to provide you with the same amount of the most expensive content in the game, even as your dream fantasy playerbase is purged of those “bads”. And the current already greatly shunken playerbase becomes smaller and smaller.

Why do you think you are worth charity on a for profit company’s part?

Why do you think I think that? If you look at my post history, I’ve made my peace with LFR existing in the game as long as its existence leaves me alone. The game would be “simpler” if it was purged but I have no problem with it existing if the game doesn’t pose an issue to me if I choose to ignore it.

If I can ignore Korthia, if I can ignore LFG, and if I can ignore LFR, we’re perfectly fine - whatever you want to do with that content, as long as it stays within that bubble, it’s all good.

If Blizzard can make money off you without bugging me, more power to them. But ultimately I just care about what I care about - it isn’t my job to figure out how they can appeal to me while also appealing to you, I just care whether I’m having fun, and if I’m not I’ll vote with my wallet, the same as you should if you feel strongly about it, and leave it to Blizzard to resolve the matter.

I don’t think LFR should be without tier sets.

I do think LFR should have tier sets that only offer bonuses for open-world or N/H/M0 content. LFR is casual content so it makes perfect sense IMO.

The problem with SoD was that almost every boss dropped “tier”. In 9.2, only end-of-wing bosses as well as the final bosses drop tier. Depending on how the lay-out of the raid works in LFR, we may not see much if any tier added to LFR for quite some time, allowing players to comfortably ignore its existence. Then, after a period of time, the Creation Catalyst will open, allowing people to get tier from just their alt catch-up gear.

It looks like a nice compromise.

The problem is, and it IS a real problem for a ton of players, is that Korthia gear had 33ilvls to upgrade to. In 9.2, we get a lousy 13 ilvl increase? THATS TRASH! Not in the least worth my time and effort to even run the new content area!

Thats the problem!

So what does that make the greens and blues?
