I joined a guild and made friends over the last 10 or so months. Maybe it’s your attitude?
Not all of us are lucky to join a guild that fits them and stay there. You are again assuming everyone has it as good as you do and everyone’s path follows yours.
We’ve had nearly 10 months, longer really seeing how it was possible to network with guilds before release.
It may well be your attitude. This isn’t a new system, it’s about time you adapt.
By all means take your own path but don’t expect to be able to create new paths in an old system.
Then you weren’t trying to rank and clearly you’re terrible at pvp if you refuse to engage in it unless you’re in a premade. Absolutely no one in vanilla ranked from exclusively doing premades. This is a new meta that came about thanks to cross realm bgs.
yes i clearly suck because i have friends, and want to play a multiplayer team-based pvp mode with friends.
you’re cool because you have no friends and try to play a multiplayer game as a singleplayer game.
a winner is you, grats
who are you talking to? who said otherwise? do you know what a strawman argument is?
“premades” are a meta now? roflmao
Absolutely, and the fact that you mock me pointing out this new cross realm premade meta proves to me you did not PVP in vanilla and are here to troll.
some facts for you to chew on
- i never supported xrbgs
- doesnt change the fact i helps 4 people get 14 in vanilla in premades running for months. doesnt change the fact there were always premades in vanilla.
extra fact for you
3. if you try to be more likable, maybe people will talk to you more. maybe you’ll even make a friend. join a guild. and then you can solve this whole issue yourself by playing in a premade with friends.
but you’d rather throw a tantrum until you get what you want and refuse to solve it yourself.
maybe just go back to retail. if you dont like classic, dont play classic.
This seems like it could make it onto a WoW loading screen
Absolutely. No. One.
Lol.
I seem to remember later fresh realms had a competitive premade scene from the very start of release.
My reasons for disliking playing with premades are that I don’t value hph over pvp and winning bgs, it really is that simple. I will obtain better gear from raiding so I can’t be bothered to waste my time ranking. If I engage in PVP it’s for enjoyment.
One of the teams I join feels the same way. We’ve had issues before with other teams excusing us of smearing their honor gains but the situation deescalates as soon as we explain that we aren’t in it for the honor.
It’s very much possible for you to find players that align with your needs. What’s inexcusable is trying to rewrite the system so that you don’t need to be bothered teaming up at all.
I don’t disagree by any means, but my primary reason for PuGing BGs, while pushing for rank 10 is that I don’t want to spend on Engineering.
It’s also because I got to rank 6 while leveling, and I don’t feel I have to really put in the effort to make myself attractive to premade groups.
But “fair” means something different to every person. Did Blizzard phone you back in 2003? If not, this system is not “supposed to try to” match your definition of “fair”.
That simply is not true. Especially not your 2020 meaning of “fair”.
The system tries to match based on some very clear metrics of fair.
Or do you think matching leveling 10’s with level 60’s is fair?
It’s extremely bizarre you keep focusing on my “attitude” when you don’t know me lol.
Don’t create new things in an old system. You sound fantastic!!!
Your attitude is very important towards your ability to find a guild or in game friends to group with.
If you are a good PVP player, you should have zero issues finding groups. I didn’t group with a single person I knew when things started. Everyone I ended up playing, I met just PVPing durotar/WPVP or joining the #wsgpremade channel that ended me in like 6 premade discords where peoplpe going for the same ranks paired together. If you want rank 10, you can hop from group to group and make it, if you want 12 or more, then you are going to need a schedule along with the other people and win 90%+ of your matches.
Thing is, people that complain want the gear without the effort or the skill. Work on yourself, your PVP skill, etc. or when TBC comes, will you expect to be invited randomly to 2200 rated team? Same here, get good and you can easily find premade group. Dont want to premade? Then just be happy wiht MC/BWL gear, its not that huge a difference.
If you think you deserve loot for putting in a bunch of time for organized, yet, bad play, you’re delusional. The argument for premades is the dumbest things I’ve seen come across a forum, ever. Those of you jumping into premades are exploiting OUT of game mechanics, and more technically speaking… you’re cheaters! I hope Blizzard bans you.
IF they were to remove premades, the fact you PvP 10+ hours a day will STILL merit the rewards you seek with the slight addition of you having to put effort in. Stop being cheaters and taking the easy way out.
Love Love
That “time” excuse is what every bad PVP player uses. Use your brain, you compete vs your OWN faction. So you have to make as much honor as other premades or more if you want to rank. If you are in a bad premade and I am in a good premade, if we both play the same amount… who do you think will reach high rank?
Yes PVP gear is very time consuming, but my premade won 95% of the games even vs higher ranked players, so skill also plays a big part of it. People that say “PVP in classic is just who has more time” is only true up to rank 8. After that, due to decay, you really need to be in a good premade (and be good yourself to be part of one).
Your logic is irrelevant, removing premades doesn’t change the ‘time’ argument, at all. If you’re a good player you’re still going to have more honor. The only thing you’re defending at this point is your ability to exploit the game… if you participate, you’re a cheater.
