The vault says you are given a reward at the end of the week based on the lowest of your 4 top mythic plus runs. So does that mean if I run 3 mythic 15s and a 2 I get loot at the end of the week based off a mythic 2? Am confused.
Yeah apparently
I personally don’t exactly think that’s good design at all
If you want max choice at good loot somehow you have to be able to get access to like 10 high level keys which could prove rather tricky
Unless you can just get a high level key and afk deplete it or something and make it count Idk
no you are wrong
lets say you are going for the vault for doing 3 m+
You have done 2 +5s and 1 +4 - you would get the reward for the +4 because thats the lowest in that group of three
Now lets say you do 3 +5s and that one +4 - you would get the reward for the +5 because the +4 is pushed off the board by that third +5
So basically the system will take your TOP THREE runs and give you the reward for the lowest of those three.
so if i start with a level 2 key i have to run 4x level 4 keys to make it forget the level 2?
damn thats kinda rough
gonna be less of an issue later on when you can just run a high-ish key from the start
What if you run a +3, 4, 5 and 6? Is the 3 pushed off? And is the average reward a 5? Or you get a +4 reward?
I’m the type that sometimes I just take what I can get into and don’t run any specific level. I’m sure others may be as well.
if you do a 3, 4, 5, and 6 the +3 is pushed off and you get a +4 since its the lowest. It does not go by average.
No.
Run less than 4 - get an ilevel from the highest run. 15 in your example.
Run 4-9 - get 1 choice from the highest (15 and one choice from the lowest (2)
Then if you ran 10 (using the rest as 2 from your example) - 1 choice from highest (15) 1 choice from 4th highest (2) 1 choice from 10th highest (2)
No, if you do 10 mythics it goes
Highest key
4th highest key
10th highest key
Example: You do 12 mythics; +2, +4, +4, +10, +6, +8, +6, +12, +4, +5, +3, +7
These will get organized from highest to lowest so that becomes
+12, +10, +8, +7, +6, +6, +5, +4, +4, +4, +2, +3
The ones in bold are what will determine your items that you get in the vault, so the +12, +7, +4.
I know it’s a little hard to see the bold text
That make more sense
Yes, the way it works you are dis-incentivized from running any M+ below your target reward level each week.
Its a god awful, toxic choice from Blizzard.
Not even close. The incentive is exactly the same as BFA and if you want better chances you can get them by doing more at your target level.
If you want the +15 reward you are dis-incentivized from running any lower keys. Each lower key you run will result in you needing to run an offsetting +15.
Good system eh ![]()
You can run 1 and get your 1 15 choice, regardless of what else you run.
You can run 4 and get 2 15 choices, regardless of what else you run.
You really expected to be able to run 1 15 + 9 2s and get 3 15 choices?
that still seems like a bad system…if I do lets say my first key which would say be +2 then I jump in two +15s later in the week I have to make sure I have time to do another run way higher then +2 or that’s the loot im getting stuck with…
If you want a community where the strong help the weak, yes Sarama I think that its a better choice to reward based on the maximum run at all levels.
If you want a community where the people capable of completing all 15’s never offer a helping hand to those that can’t rewarding based on the minimum completed is exactly what I’d put in place. This is also the elitist, hard core, toxic choice IMO.
Pointless complexity is pointless.
I think you have misunderstood the system.
If you run a single +15 and nothing else, you get only one option from the dungeon row, with ilvl determined by that one +15 run.
If you run a single +15 and a hundred +2s, you will get three choices from the Vault. One will be at +15, and the other two will be at +2.
Running low-level stuff never replaces your high-level rewards.
But if you didnt have that +2 in there you wouldn’t qualify for the next tier anyways
Its still a benefit to run with the people you want to help. They’ll gear up and be able to do higher keys.
And you can’t ignore the fact that this community abuses the heck out of anything they can. All you idea would do would give incentive for teams to get their 15 done and burn through 9 2s so they get their best chest.
