Its actually not an assumption at all.
Its literally looped into the server retirement list.
if they didnt have to kill 20 servers because TBC is an awful game and 400k people server xfered to the same 5 servers, they would have waited until WOTLK prepatch to lift the pvp restriction.

you can easily create both faction on pvp anniversary if you pay extra 15$ per month, too many people doing that because (having 2x accounts gives various advantage)
you can also have all your alts online in same time which i consider premium option and super amazing but you need to pay 15$ a month per the alt (make each alt on new account)
Weak arguments = coping I guess.
This is one of the main points of my argument for removing the restriction. Its impossible for blizzard to stop me from playing the faction I want to play. At the end of the day there are just too many avenue’s available to bypass their restrictions.
With that being said, I would prefer to keep all my characters, and have them all on the same account. I personally will never sub two accounts at the same time, It’s not in my cards to spend more than $15 total to play wow each month. But i dont mind deleting all my toons and rerolling come prepatch, or cancelling one subscription and starting a new account.
Either way the restriction is just an annoyance more than anything else.
Arguments can be made that it helps faction imbalance, and thats great to think positively about it… but when push comes to shove if you find yourself out numbered and getting ganked you can always just layer hop and not have to worry about it anymore.
