Oh I’ve had maxed renown since about week 3, I know how to get cards I just do delves for the week first and Chett lists only if I’m bored out of my skull.

I do 14 lists per week for cartel rep, and i think i have always had at least 3 of the following options available.
Rares
Scrap Dig
Races
Kaja Cruising
Delve - Sidestreet
Delve - Excavation
Side Gig
Capture 5 pets.
All of those are much quicker than dumpster diving or fishing.
Out of those, the only one that is kind of a slog is the capture pets one, but id still take that over fishing, haha

I wish the pets one was just to defeat them. Capturing 5 means it won’t be long before you have to start deleting pets if you want to keep doing that one

1040 is like 6 months of casual questing/weeklies only. It is way too grindy.

Capture 5 pets SHOULD be easy. But for some weird reason, pets are often not up to catch. I don’t know why it is, but while I would normally consider pets a gimme, I always avoid it.
Same with fishing. It wants a SPECIFIC fish. The one time I tried it, it took almost 15 mins. You can complete an entire Chett list in that time.
But Dumpster Diving is a FREEBIE!!!
Bind your interact key (I use 6). Then, if you have auto-loot on, make sure you have a “stop auto-loot” key bound (I use shift).
With that, stand in front of a dumpster and just hit shift-6, shift-6, shift-6, etc etc. Every time you “interact” you “open” the trash can, but with the modifier key pressed, you never loot the contents.
So you just open-close, open-close, open-close … effectively opening 25 cans in a row in about 20 seconds.
It is without comparison the easiest of the ones to do once you know this trick. 
The hardest part is simply finding a trash can. The solution is to just keep an eye out for a trash can as you’re working on your other two items.
Final tip (even though it should be obvious): You can complete the two Delves on level-1. So even a total n00b, i610 alt can just run to the end boss and simply AoE the entire place all at once. A Delve run should only take like 2 mins. Those are gimme’s, too.

Also worth noting…
In another FINE example of Blizzard screwing us over, the Chett lists are not Warbound.
So all the time you’ve been playing alts to max the other four Cartel reps, you probably have a hundred or so spread across your other chrs.

k, I found out where to get a chett list
You get it from the chett console on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
I clicked that once while doing quests and never went back there, so yea, totally overlooked it until this morning.
So I got a chett list now, but it’s the 3rd so can’t do it this month, maybe next month.
It might be the worst one they’ve ever added lmao
