You didnt answer my question. You avoided it.
Yes it is. The point I’m making is pretty clear.
Nope; hunters have intimidation, mages will have deep freeze, and priests have blackout
In no way can you even compare Hardiness to Perception, pretty unhinged statement.
I guess I can say the same.
PeRcEpTiOn is better than Hardiness because 1 out of 100 time i can sniff out a rouge.
Hardiness - great for countering Rouges, Paladins, Warriors, Mages (with deep freeze), Priest, Druid, Hunter.
The only class that not mentioned is the horde only shaman.
For literally all of classic/era, the pvp horde rule of thumb was “if you can be orc, be orc” and it wasn’t for axe mastery.
For alliance it was Gnome, maybe dwarf. Specially not human, and NOT for perception.
I think we got a super human among us, and all of us disagreeing are just bad at the game and he is better. Oh well, gotta git gud.
No, it isnt. Snark is not an argument. Its what people think is a great response when they lack an argument.
Not every hunter is 21 into BM. Not every mage is frost. Not every priest has blackout.
But ill give you credit, you tried.
Hardiness is good against stuns. Period. If someone doesnt need to stun you to kill you, hardiness is useless.
Perception is good against stealth. Period. If someone doesnt need stealth to kill you, perception is useless.
The difference is while you can control when you use Perception and how much mileage you get out of it, you are completely at the mercy of RNG with Hardiness.
I play Human and Orc classes near exclusively. My Rogues are always Human and my Warriors are always Orcs. The reason for these choices should be self evident.
yeah, for sure. we need to git good.
this cat is
ing us
Yes it is.
Enjoy lala land where you’re at, anyone that has actually played both competitively knows you’re a complete joke
more classes have access to stun than stealth.
Getting opened on from stealth is not an auto loss.
Resisting a stun can be an auto win.
This is the difference. This is where braincells enter the chat.
I thought everyone already swapped to Horde because of shaman? Oh wait, Ironforge still shows Alliance is the dominant faction in terms of population.
These threads are always hilarious.
Took you long enough to start using them.
I added the emphasis.
Hardiness will either give you a fighting chance, or do nothing. It decides, not you.
Perception, when you use it effectively, nearly guarantees a win unless the Rogue is willing to waste Blind or Vanish to try and withdraw and even then it isnt a guarantee he can safely retreat (you should never NOT have a DoT on a Rogue. This is a failure on your part if you dont).
I play Humans and I play Orcs, unless the class im playing doesnt allow me to (E.g Hunter/Druid). On Humans, i dont sweat Rogues or Ferals at all. As an Orc, its a dice roll every time.
This guy thinks Perception has an AOE taunt that forces the enemy stealth class to engage, you realize you just walk away from them right?
The only time it’s truly an advantage is when you see them stealth while already stealthed, and at that point its not hard to find them without Perception entirely.
If you catch a rogue in the open world win perception, you were probably winning that fight anyway. Because they were bad.
Are you trying to argue that the fact that Hardiness is a passive ability is a bad thing?
This statement encompasses roughly 95% of WoW players. So… yeah. You arent wrong there.
I have experience with both racials. You clearly do not. I prefer Perception. Rather than stop and ask why, you simply refuse to accept it.
Theres a lot to unpack there.
what guilds have said they are rerolling horde?
I’ve played wow since vanilla beta.
I’ve played every race and class in nearly every expansion.
There isn’t an ounce of doubt in my soul id take hardiness over perception 100% of the time.
I pop bad rouges with perception all the time. Id beat those losers anyway. Id much rather have hardiness to swing the advantage in my favor when playing skilled opponents.
I dont make decisions based on playing vs bads. i make decisions on playing vs goods.
Im gonna need some proof.
