Embarrassing to tell people I play WoW

When people ask IRL what games I play its embarrassing to say I play WoW. They always respawns with “oh, isnt that the game that costs hundreds of dollars of dollars. Is it any good?”

A year sub is like 180$ and the game isn’t good. Then you feel like a monkey for paying so much for a bad game.

1. Its pay to Win.
2. Best mounts are 25$.
3. T-mog are on store now.
4. Games dead.
5. The Developer dont listen to feed back or tell people what they are working on/fixing.
6. No Content.
7. The CEO is threatening to kill people.
8. Company is in the news for horribly things lately.

I love WoW and I don’t really wanna quit, but it doesn’t feel good to tell people I play wow. If anyone asks if I play video games I usually say Destiny 2, Forza Horizon, LoL or New World. Even though I don’t play those games regularly like I play WoW.

Why care what people think?

All my friends and family know I play. The worse thing I get called is you’re a “Big Kid” and I tell em “dang right”.

Besides I pay my bills, take care of my family and work, they don’t do that for me. Thats why I don’t care what people think of me and my hobbies.

If they ain’t feeding you then I wouldn’t care what they thought, its your money.
