It was kinda funny how for years they said alliance couldn’t have High Elves because there weren’t enough of them. Then they got Void Elves which might struggle to put together a single NFL team. But at least their new reason for why they never could makes up for that by going with the “they are blood elves and are too similar”. Because it would just be weird if the Alliance got models that were just recolored blood elves, or a race that could go to either faction. Super weird.

Actually void elves fit the bill for dark elves more than Nightborne.

Id say its more like:

Blood elf = traditional lord of the rings style elf

Night elf = wood elf/forest elves

Void elf = dark elf

Nightborne = high elf

But honestly any wow elf can fit into any generic fantasy elf trope.

I think its more they represent blizzards ability to completely ignore what the players want. Nobody asked for Void elves. Whats wrong with having playble High elves?

We have playable High Elves. We have had them for over a decade.

I don’t go around asking for playable Humans on the Horde, if I want to play a Human I just make one on the Alliance.

Why this is impossible for the ‘High Elf’ crowd, I’ll never understand.

High elves = alliance .

Stop crying because blood elves will never be high elves .

If you want to play a real high elve . . .Alliance is there for you.

If you want to play a blood elve . . .stinky horde is there for you.

First off. It Elf. Not Elve.

Elves is the plural, Elf is the singular. Learn to speak properly if you’re going to try and verbally spar with me.

Secondly, it’s been said before by the lead developer of this game that Blood Elves are High Elves. In fact that very line you tried to wield against me was when it was stated.
