No life’ing for a weapon? No thanks DK in multiple 100k’s or mils worth of enchants, gems, sockets, and such for honor gear + crafted epics. Kinda proved my point.

Move them to 2100 and just add more rewards for the higher tiers so boomers can’t be upset that “no one wants to work for anything anymore”. Even though that’s just a strawman argument lmao. The set is already 1800, so 2100 is a nice middle ground in between 2400 and 1800.

These forums can be ridiculously elitest. I see no reason why they needed to make the change. Had they kept it at 2100, no one would have complained it should be 2400. Just another case of blizzard fixing something that isn’t broken.

The problem is this wasn’t the case before. Everyone was fine with 2100 wep unlock. Blizzard has a habit of changing things from season to season, when it really never needed changing. Had weapon unlock always been 2400, you’d likely see people just accept it for what it is. People don’t like change, even when its good for them…but even more so when it’s bad change.
A similar but opposite situation was when they changed gladiator to 50 games won at 2400+ instead of top .5%. It was fine as it was, and no one was complaining. Blizzard changed it and now we have a giant hole in rewards between 2400 and rank 1. Blizzard just needs to stop changing things that NO ONE is complaining about. Add new rewards instead.

Ok, then in that regard shouldn’t we change all titles and rewards…why stop at 2100 rewards…shouldn’t we increase combatant to 1800 now? The bigger problem is that soloshuffle shouldn’t have any of the same rewards as regular arena. Getting Duelist as a dh in soloshuffle, vs a destro lock or fire mage are VERRRRYYY different things. But all you will see is "duelist’.
That’s why anyone with a brain doesn’t care about ss rating. Keep up

they r taking a step in right direction making it super easy to get full gear in half a day

Tbf those games have a much lower barrier to entry. 3 or 4 buttons or they’re point and click for pew pew. WoW requiring leveling and gearing, on top of learning the utility buttons already puts it behind
they never should have changed it… now there is nothing at 2100 anymore aside from the title for a season.

Don’t you get a cape AND illusion at 2.1k? TBH, I think 2.4k for weapon mog is fine. Aside from glad in premade 3s, there is no special permanent reward for reaching 2.4k and moving weapon mog to 2.4 is probably a good thing.
