Nothing. I’ve realistically been GY farmed, or GY farmed on a team maybe a couple dozen times out of… thousands of BGs ran over the years. So it’s a request from someone who had a frustrating, but isolated experience.
What it would do, however, is stop people from having to learn to deal with split rezz properly–further removing the community from the skills they need to develope in order to perform better in rated games.
Which would further promote these BGs being a giant complaint box, instead of real BG-related forum for helpful and interesting discussion.

This is good advice. Against me, if I’m standing in the actual GY, it doesn’t work bc I loot all the bodies after I plant flags in them 
I agree with the posters that say a change isn’t necessary. The solution is already there: convince people to stop rezzing. I’ve succeeded most of the times in convincing them to stop rezzing when this has happened to me.
Yes, of course, sometimes they won’t listen and keep rezzing and that sucks. It’s not worth dev time to fix this issue imo.
As someone who likes farming kills, I can tell you that I definitely want to end it when no one is rezzing or even if only 1-2 are rezzing. I think the opposing team deserves a full 15in gy farm if the whole team keeps being stupid and rezzing non stop.

I just saw you in game Voodoo. Funny thing is your other druid healer afked and messaged me on a level 1. Of course you ended up winning b/c my team was fighiting mid while you got by.
We had a priest healer afk out while it was 0-0 too. Way too many people quit so easily…
Like many others have said, if you are getting GY farmed, you do this:
1.) Don’t res. (walk outside res area as a ghost)
2.) try to be captain savetheday and keep ressing and probably dying in a global.
Side note, isn’t Tol Barad a Cata instance?
GY farming is a twink specialty. They can’t remove it.
How can I beat my 40 killing blows regular bg record in Reflex (I think I had this beat on my lock in WoD but didn’t have an addon to track it) if players don’t have the option of being dumb and rezzing nonstop while.we are farming them?
I think the IOC immune bubble is dumb. I get why they did them bc people were forming premades to farm bloodthirsty back in the day and IOC gy farm was the best way to do it. Nowadays, I can run back in when people are in my base and I’m about to die. I heal up while immune and then run back out.
Killing people in GY and splitting rez time is a strategy. Your bubble idea kills it.
IoC had immunity bubbles added because people would farm the graveyard with vehicles. It was impossible to counter (aside from the obvious stop rezzing).
It’s not a great design but it works in vehicle maps due to the power of vehicles vs players. It doesn’t work for other maps, and it shouldn’t. Graveyard farming is an acceptable strategy.

This a thousand times this. Never rez into a GY camp. If the balance is that bad, just stay ghost form and don’t give the other team the kills.

it is a great idea but they’d have to tweak it further than just an ‘immune’ bubble
like flags would have to be dropped upon entering not able to be picked back up for 10 seconds or something
other than flags I don’t really see any reason it wouldn’t work fine and deter gy farms which are toxic as hell
I ran into a premade from people on my realm once. I was a merc at the time so they were killing me and my team. After it was over I whispered one of them and asked why they did it… His answer was basically that they were farming hks and it was fun for them. So… you should take your own advice, and not generalize. People absolutely do still farm hks.
Oh, and it was in a Twin Peaks.
GY Farming is only annoying to me for 2 reasons. 1 because we as a team stunk bad enough to let it happen. 2 because they wont’ cap/get the flag as long as they can keep getting kills. I don’t think they should really create a GY protection system though.

My point was that is not common. It makes very little sense to hold up objectives just to farm hks in small battlegrounds.
