Elf fans. Do you still want High Elves?

I don’t care about your excuse.

The point is the story had the high elf race change its name and join the horde. You don’t agree that that was a good choice in the story. And rather than just say you don’t like the turn the story took you have turned it into a personal attack on yourself because it didn’t do what you thought it should.

It is funny when people think they can agree or disagree with opinions.

IF I say 5 is a bad number because 2 + 2 equals 5, most people in here seem to be more bothered in trying to convince me 5 is a good number than they are to explain that 2+2 is not 5.

That is funny as hell.

Really? My high elf paladin would beg to differ but he doesn’t exist on Alliance. He’s a Horde sympathizer for whatever reason and Liadrin talks to him like they’re old buds despite her likely killing several of his friends when she was a psycho.

Blood Elves are High Elves!

Hey, that’s my usual line

Completely agree, I just don’t think it’s helpful or healthy to turn a game design decision you don’t like into a personal attack against you. I mean, I’m frustrated about some of the game play decisions they’ve made this expansion, but I don’t think it’s meant to attack my playstyle, just more that people that don’t get what I enjoy put in what they think people want.

Honestly, I live among game designers, and here there are barely any mention of it.

maybe we could have void elf paladins who use void instead of light, and void elf paladins that agree to undergo a ritual to be light users instead, like light-forging or a conversion from void to light. all i know is i want pink sparkly consecration :joy:

That is another can of worms already opened 10 topics below.

There were very few Belves that followed Kael to the Outlands. The rest stayed behind and Kael made Lorthemar the Regent Lord.

With the way elves in general tend to get all that stuff first I’d rather if class skin show up that other races get the love first (unless the do everyone at once) But I think they should get them as part of everyone getting the class

ya. I highly doubt the devs really mean anything as a personal slight. and despite it all, I actually remember BFA release. void elves were well received and very popular. should they have had better story? yes. but this is blizzard we are talking about.

Oh dear god that was such a lost opportunity, so much potential thrown away.

oh i thought they split off once they got there. i remember this from the city of light quest:

As the regiment of blood elves crossed this very bridge, the Aldor’s exarchs and vindicators lined up to defend the Terrace of Light. But then the unexpected happened.

The blood elves laid down their weapons in front of the city’s defenders; their leader, a blood elf elder known as Voren’thal, stormed into the Terrace of Light and demanded to speak to A’dal.

As the naaru approached him, Voren’thal kneeled before him and uttered the following words: “I’ve seen you in a vision, naaru. My race’s only hope for survival lies with you. My followers and I are here to serve you.”

The defection of Voren’thal and his followers was the largest loss ever incurred by Kael’s forces. And these weren’t just any blood elves. Many of the best and brightest amongst Kael’s scholars and magisters had been swayed by Voren’thal’s influence.

well they better hurry lol i’m getting old …fast.

Those are also Kael followers. Many of us stayed behind in Silvermoon. Which is explained in our quests. Kael later was seen as having betrayed us. Which is what he’s described as also in the Revendreth quests.

You know, thinking on it. The conflict between High elves/Blood elves makes more sense then Pandaren conflict. Speaking of Pandaren can we ever go back to that and find out their story between the two schools?

Last time I checked the anti’s do attack people that disagree with them but you’d know that because you are one of the anti Blood Elfers that dislikes people that tell you that Horde already has the High Elves with Blood Elves and then you try to twist it and claim they are anti High Elf despite the fact we are literally already playing High Elves.

and it was quite the debunking too

i’m not anti-blood elf, in fact, the opposite. i like the aesthetic and class options enough that i’d like an alliance version that’s a helf. if i dont get it, oh well, but i’d still like it. :innocent:
