The Storm’s Fury is overiding the Elemental Storms, I knew Thaldraszus was causing the bug for at least 1 storm.
This is so frustrating! Nobody expects this do be done in a couple of days, but when you do not see any progress in several days, that is annoying. I realize you want us to spend more time in the game and like to draw this out, but this is getting ridiculous. Random obviously does not work, so please give us a more predictable spawn schedule. If I know the storm I still need will be coming in 2 days, I am ok with that, but waiting 2 days and still not getting any further, that is what upsets people.
It is most likely not the case of Storm’s Fury being the culprit for every single 2nd storm that hasn’t spawned. The odds of it being the case when several other aspects of the game all broke at the same time is monumentally low. Fyrakk Assaults, several WQ’s and other stuff also broke the same time as the storms.
We can safely debunk the theory that it’s Primalist Future storms that are causing this issue. One just spawned there:

Firestorm in Thaldraszus is up, I head over to The Temporal Conflux as per the map. Can’t find any mobs, but notice Storm’s Fury is also up. Click the portal, no empowered mobs there either. Zone back out, and now the indicator of the Firestorm is gone.
According to Wowhead the storm is still meant to be up, so it’s not just that I missed it. Something is very wrong, and although the Primalist Future probably isn’t causing it, it might be making it worse or complicating the issue.
Relogging didn’t make the storm marker reappear, leaving The Temporal Conflux didn’t work either (I was thinking maybe a phasing issue?) nor did porting back to Valdrakken then reentering Thal.
This is all a bit of a pain. >.<
Still only one up, and sometimes none at all. The other day there were two Frost storms in the same zone but in different spots.
I understand that there’s probably a lot of things interfering with each other, like the Storm’s Fury, Fyrakk Assault, Emerald thing, etc etc. But it’d be great if we could get a little more consistency for these kind of things - the RNG aspects of the meta-achievement can be really frustrating already, without there being bugs that prevent people from completing them.
Also, while this doesn’t apply to me so much, some people will only be able to play a rather limited amount of time. They might be lucky if they get to see one Primal Storm rotation per day, so having 2 at once increases the chances of them getting the ones they need by a huge margin.
Please just let 1 of each element type spawn in all 4 zones all at once. I just need 1 more with 10 kills, that’s it. Who even knows when that 1 will come back, it’ll probably show up when I am asleep for all I know.
I think the phasing issue is probably the real problem there, since we had so many problems with the phasing at the DotI dungeon summoning stone this season, there seems to be like 2-3 stage of phasing. I don’t know how Blizzard is gonna make up with all this but right now, the achievement is so much pain, unfair (because the last storms you need are almost always ones that spawn once in a week and you might be asleep or at work) and way too much rng. They either need to find a way to fix it more than 2 storms in azure and waking shore at the same time, or just remove it from the meta since they can’t make it work correctly.
I’ve no doubt the Primalist Future event itself is causing issues for that particular spot but the storm itself spawning there isn’t causing any issues for the rest of the locations. It’s not the reason we’re only getting one storm or none.
There was a wild theory that the location was bugged and not spawning storms and was the reason we got zero storms twice on late Friday night/ early Saturday morning but we can determine that isn’t the case because despite Primalist Future overwriting it, storms can still spawn there.
But Primalist Future and that particular area alone are not causing the myriad of bugs that are happening in all dragon flight zones since daily reset on Friday. (Fyrakk’s Assault noped out, certain WQ’s not properly refreshing, Storms going down to 1 or none) If I could still post in CC I’d bring that issue up in Remixo’s thread alas I must sit here and watch wild claims be made without proof to back it up.

Honestly, at this point, I just wish a Blue would tell us what’s up and what they’re trying to do to fix this issue.

If not, that’s the last one I’ve been waiting on (and many others it seems). Sadly, I -did- see it pop, at 11pm PST on 4/4, courtesy of WoWhead but was unable to hop on. Then - the next day, the storms went singular, and none have popped since.
So I’ve basically decided to be patient as the +1 to mount total, isn’t worth getting bent over anytime soon. I mean - after farming the gated Crab mount in Naj… what’s a few days. Perspective!..
But yeah, there’s a lot broke, so I think a lot of us are upset because so much feels broke, on Live, yet we see daily updates to SoD and Classic, which wouldn’t exist… without Live.
I need fire in Thal, yesterday it despawned when the Storm’s Fury spawned. All I see is storms on Azure Span.
I was missing 10 kills for the sandstorm in the Plains.
Yes, it very much is upsetting that they seem to only care about Classic and SoD mainly. I said that if they ever did a classic version of this game that the live game would end up suffering for it and that basically is true today. I won’t go into the full rant about it, but the evident bugs and total carelessness while they hotfix SoD immediately and Plunderstorm basically shows the insane disconnect.
Still need Thal Thunder as well. Been checking every 3 hours even through the nights.
I did the Mechagon & Nazjatar achieves, which were very hard & some pretty severely RNG based, but at least you could try. Here there is just no progress possible.
A reminder, they fixed the overly generous Nightmare Incursions but won’t fix this.
And let me be frank. I don’t care if they’re different teams. They haven’t even ACKNOWLEDGED something is wrong here.
So many things could be calmed by just saying “we hear you and we’re working on it” instead of us seemingly screaming into the void hoping for another sexual harassment lawsuit for long-awaited fixes.

- Retuned the Unstable Wisp in the Hinterlands Nightmare Incursion to be a bit less punishing for players to deal with.
- Quest objects for Nightmare Incursions now have multiple simultaneous spawn locations.
- Reduced the experience awarded by Nightmare Incursion quests.
- Increased the reputation granted by level 50 quests.
And nothing about the numerous Live issues reported for days (and weeks - like Grotto Scales) the day before reset.
But… to be positive, let’s hope we start seeing 2 storms rotate after the reset tommorow.
And Catalogue quests rotate in again.
And Zaralek rare spawns without bad sharding (pro-tip, do it in Warmode friends)
And Harkyn spawning properly (this was infuriating months ago!)
And Fyrakk assaults fixed
And Grand Hunts fixed
