For the Enchanting profession, with 40 points in Primal Extraction; casting Elemental Shatter is supposed to give a +25 skill buff in that element. However, since the 11.0 patch, the skill buff is not being provided. This is detrimental because some spells can only reach 3* (without Concentration) by having this buff active .
Can we get a hotfix for this please?
It seems that with the pre-patch, Inspiration is replaced by Concentration, so the intention would be for you to use Concentration to get to maximum quality, just as has been described for TWW.
That has nothing to do with the move to ingenuity. Its the fact that the tooltip in the specializations says that I am supposed to get a skill boost from the element shattered. I did not spent the points in that wheel for 10 minutes stats buffs!
There is a similar shatter spell for TWW, so I think Blizz’s intention is for shattering to still buff enchanting.
Elemental shatter is still not providing a bonus to enchanting…
This bug is still unfixed.
And if it’s not a bug but an intention, then the 40th point of Primal Extraction needs to be changed to another effect.
Given that a fully skilled out blood elf can only make ~6x Plainsrunner’s boot speed enchants while the bug is present, and that run speed gear is about to be in high demand, it’d be nice to see it actually fixed before TWW launch.
Yup… Blizz just flipped the middle finger on all Enchanters at the end of the expansion…
