Yes, elementals, PW, etc… all of that is gone and nerfed to hell. That doesn’t make Lava Burst better.
But it makes LB that less worth being a mandatory spam.
So the reason you spammed LB is now gone.
The SK CDR does not trump LvB atm.

It’s worth noting that tuning number changes aren’t finalized yet so it’s still possible some abilities will see a % buff or nerf come patch day. We still have to wait and see where lava burst falls in the scheme of things but I expect we will want to at the very least cast it prior to Earth Shock so it benefits from Master of the Elements. I am hoping Lava Burst will get a tuning buff so it hits a little harder though.
I mean maybe Lava Surge needs to add a damage component onto it or something, but if we get a proc, we should want to use it - whether we are Stormbringer or Farseer or Lightning or Fire build. It’s just iconic - and now it’s getting a complete new redesign in animation. Feels not good to only cast it to consume PW.
They need to rework Errupting Lava because this talent is absolute crap similar to such Chaos Bolt talent for Warlock. It doesn’t work…
If Erupting Lava triggered the Volcanic Eruption upon the target, including the knock up, it might be interesting. You’re eating the shock’s duration to actually reach a goal. The damage over everything would still need to be tuned (read improved)
It’s absolute crap because your Flame Shock expires in a blink of an eye and it’s nerfed by 50% in PvP.
Try it on PTR. I literally skip it because it’s extremely unfun to play it.
I definitely did, it’s just a blank spot in the talent tree with the way it is right now. Mechanically, it just eats and poops out disappointment.
The worst part is that Farseer was meant to be Fire focused spec but if you pick it with Farseer your Ancestors also consume Flame Shock duration.
cut defensives cd’s in half to make up for cdr lost or ele done pushing at 12

the onllllyyyy issue the rework last time NEEDED to address for the spec was survivability (lightning bolts/lavaburst balance and spaming/spender power/etc. all would be nice to actually get worked out of course) but they FINALLY fixed our defensives so we cud survive push content w/ other classes and now theyre like JK…

shield totem needs to be a reasonable CD , lower spiritgrace CD too , or add it to the CDR
