I like it because it’s unhinged and it reminds me of an eruption and super-saiyan. It feels more unique and lively than a generic edgy frowning hooded man

Lmao, is this real? I had no idea this was actually a thing.
Oh, I had an idea for a hero talent: Elemental Jester. 10 seconds after casting Ascendance form, you spring into a motley outfit using using your highly spirited jazz hands to tickle the target, stunning all enemies within 10 yards as they double over in hysterics. Accepting this talent also increases your movement speed by 10% when out of combat, causing you to leave a trail of confetti everywhere you go.

My only issue with it really is the “hair”. It doesn’t just look bad in and of itself, it is also just a lazy way to do it. Same look for all three except for the colour. No effects to signify which element it is. It’s a lame version of a bad concept. Now we know why the current version of the ascendance form wears a hood.
The rest of it I actually love. Like I’ve always loved the current ascendance. I love that it’s a twisted, horrid looking monster. That’s like the entire idea behind it. It’s an unnatural thing our characters are doing. Mortal beings aren’t meant to become elementals! We got the idea from the twilight’s hammer cult! I’ve always loved this kind of fantasy in other fictions as well, of someone becoming an elemental being. And those typically result in a gnarly look character too. Think of your Cinder from Killer Instinct, or Tremor from Mortal Kombat X. I love them!

To me it looks like they just took the banshee model and slapped some hi-def stuff on it. It definitely gives “Here, damn” vibes.
Those fingers though. They…they look like balloons, those ones you use to make balloon animals. I can NOT unsee it.

Why not give ascendance forms the moonkin treatment and make them highly customizable?
The technology is already there for druid forms in the barbershop.
The new ascendence forms make it seem like the shaman has went mad and out of control and they are also IMO ugly.

This is actually a cool idea. I don’t play much shaman so idk how long you stay in ascendance, but eyeballing my Vulpera shaman and imagining her turning into one of these roided up rave demons makes me uncomfy,
(as a lock main, no beef with demons. I would just prefer to be a smol demon >:3 )
acsended is definitely not as cool as super saiyan. if I got a golden aura and had the screen shake when I went ascended form, it would be an improvement over these repurposed banshee models.
