Hey team,
Playing around the stormbringer set on PTR (which is so much better concept wise than farseer but that’s another story) is kinda achieving the same results as DRE minus the randomness and it feels so much better (as expected).
I realize that it’s too late to see a change to DRE but I REALLY hope it’s a one tier test to see how it would be to have a DRE working on an amount of resources spent rather than being full random.
I realize that if it’s successful it might mean some kind of nerf to ascendance or a least preeminence but I guess it’s a fine price to pay if it also mean 2 min ascendance is the play.

I primarily play Stormbringer Ele so it’s nice to hear this set is working nicely.

Glad its doing well. I heard rumors it will get beat down hard with the nerf bat. Hoping it’s not true. Anytime Ele flies to close to the sun, Blizz seems to come in quick to melt those wings.
Let’s just say if you lucky with DRE you can be in ascendance for a long time but even though, elem Is not over performing on PTR. The set might get nerf simply because it’s too much with DRE (they really feel like 2 versions of the same thing) but the spec itself needs buff especially ST / farseer
