The only two things that ele can do that enh/ resto cannot are fire elemental and earthquake so you might to rethink if fire ele and earthquake are worth spending time levelling for
i thought difference was range vs melee lol
The current situation is hard to explain
I love Ele you can play around with the other specs and see what you like.
Ele is a challenging spec to be good at and requires a lot of set up. Again I like the challenge.
Definitely feels more fleshed out than in shadowlands
Lean into fire talents
Keep flameshock DOT up on many targets
And the giant fire meatballs shall be free casting
The only thing I wanna from SL is earth shield legendary and I will play elem. Make me more tanky and I will do it. Until then check Venruki hard stack at 1300 with elem
Elemental is great.
There are a lot of ways you can play it. Nothing feels quite as satisfying as popping a few big chain lightnings on a huge group and then throwing down a few earthquakes ā¦
Elementalās burst potential is insane with the right setup. In pve I often find myself drawing aggro from the tank ā¦
Iāve finished Mythic+ 18 keys as Elemental. On the whole, the talent trees and abilities have healthy variety while keeping similar damage.
Elemental can front load with a simple reactive rotation.
In an era where DPS meters are leaned into heavily, Shaman are in a strange spot because the qualitative components we bring arenāt as appreciated as they should be.
For example, helping healers during difficult packs with Ancestral Healing. Interrupting on short cool down. Snaring/rooting, and Stunning packs. Purging shields. Cleansing curses. To the Shaman Class Developerās credit, there are talents that provide Maelstrom for using Utility on cool down, but itās not as good as it should be.
Shamans need better damage amplification for being a jack of all trades and filling that role. The foundation is there but 8 maelstrom from an interrupt and increased spot healing from a flameshock isnāt quite good enough.
Can you link you mythic plus talent tree spec.I got yelled because my dps suckedā¦so im thinking.I need to spec into a mythic style treeā¦and if you can add the rotation I would be forever gratefulā¦thank you.
I donāt mean this to be ugly but your talent choices have very little synergy between them.
What play style are you wanting to achieve? Thereās quite a few ways to go but it just depends on what you want to focus on, right now your talents are all over the place.
I want a fire buildā¦thats works in dungeons and mythic +ā¦any advice would be great I appreciate it.thats Why I need help
So you prefer fire build and want it for raids and M+?
So for M+ there is a build type called āwild fire.ā I havenāt tried it bc I mostly PVP but you should look into it. The build is up on wowhead Ele Shaman guide.
For raid do you want more ST or AOE? You could probably have an AOE build and ST build saved to switch between bosses and trash.
What Soartotes suggests is itā¦i changedvmy ele shaman talent tree to that fire build mythic + from wowhead a couple of days ago and my dps has improved so much. Try it out.
Coolness I will do that thank you ![]()
