By highest dps? Sure. 200 more on the tippy top. Overall? No. Both shaman dps specs rank higher.
Shaman is the most ubiquitous 1v1 class in SoD right now. EVERYONE knows it. Shaman hold their own 1v1 against pretty much every class, and if they are prepped for the fight, do so against everyone with some minor rune changes.
We say the same thing on Alliance because we have so many ret paladins.
How come i didnt see eles posting about how strong they were last 2 phases? The class that literally almost ruined sod is finally tuned down a little and the crying begins.

Wear a full set of +healing gear, cast earth shield then swap to your damage set. Your ES retains all the healing boost.
just for applying earthshield once. Interesting the lengths you need to go for survivability

I think you need to try wolves, the healing they give is why they are so strong in 1v1.
The trick is to have two cloaks and just swap to SEaF when wolves are on CD.
Your also in full pve gear, Iād recommend running atleast 2 pvp pieces for a bit of a health boost (ideally 6 piece). Stam is more important than pve stats in pvp.

I love Ele in pvp, I rolled it thinking they wouldnāt be that great. So Iām pretty happy with where they are in PvP. Def need some love in PvE though.
Thatās your problem right there. Thatās not stamina gear. Get yourself r10 pvp gear, itās easily another 1200hp. Always wear the pvp gear in open world as well.

Actually it is a hard counter against hunters as ele. Add cold embrace trinket and itās legit.
And in small group pvp you cast burn and spam powersurge overload natureās swiftness chainlightenings and make the ally run for the hills
Ele is extremely good in PvP, it has weaknesses, like it always had and as all classes should, but the strengths of ele remain and are incredibly effective in pvp.
As far as PvE goes, lightning bolt is one of the hardest scaling basic abilities in the game, and as phases go on and SP scales up Ele is going to continue to be a fun, effective spec.
ele in pve is crap.
hate to say it , but it is.
the range issues alone are horrible especially on rag and the output is poopie doo doo (pardon my french).

Iām just amazed anyone is complaining as ele in pvp when Iām dancing around slamming flameshock for 1500 initial hit crits fishing for power surges while I auto attack with flametongue in between until I get a focused casting proc , can re root a melee, or a power surge.
The class is insanely good in PvP. I actually keep my ele PvP set in my bag and dual spec ele when I get ganked as trashance because that spec has 0 healing power now and actually sucks in PvP compared to ele. Unless your dogs cooldown is up, WHICH, ironically you can just do better with it as Ele

Ele is so good in PvP, so flexible in how it can deal with different situations, itās clear people are not thinking about the ENTIRE kit available and only trying to one shot before they get noticed.

Reality is you have to wait for a proc. Im complaining about pvp a lot less than I am about pve mind you. I know Ill survive a long time if i dont sit and hardcast in pvp. I still want the same range as hunters so i can use my proc since they wont fix pushback.
