Just how I feel after trying every stat prio and multiple talent/lego builds.
5k avg lvb with fireheart even don’t cut it.
I did an insignia/kevin/skyfury/ascednance (20% crit) go and the lvb does a whopping 14k please help
I think the reason it feels under tuned is because it is.
I was watching dewoverload have some fun with kyrian vesper + equilibrium but it feels about as meme-y as convoke… yeah it 100-0’s when you get it off but it’s just more effort for the same reward as other specs.

I legit struggle to finish off ppl at 20-10% with 45% mastery primordials and a charge of SK
because even then its like 15k+ 7k over 3 globals
I dont wanna vesper, kinda bummed out

its definitely annoying, but to be fair, yall got parry, guardian, off heals from the ele, and ignore pain trying to kill that warrior in that 20s.
but 100% other specs would have just killed right through like those cds didnt even exist. or at least they would have procc’d the GS.
i got double crit yesteday by a warrior for 25k execute proc and 27k real execute. dropped from 51% to dead in .7s. thats literally like vesper levels of damage with none of the set up he pressed one button twice and won. and for an ele to do anything comparable its 6+ GCD’s of pre-setting a GO.
Yea i prob should of jus purged fort if anything lol I wanted to see the overloads roll (16k wowzers)
And then the kill isn’t even satisfying because its just Demo cheese.
Should of lost that game cus I’m bad but even a baddie can see all the spec has all these low impact GCDs with no clear decisive finisher/win con

i honestly feel the win condition is dampening, but like… dampening is such a unachievable concept right now and even if you can make it there, other specs just perform better in it.

Lasso is our only high scaling ability aside from Kyrian and you have to jump thru hurdles buffing it and crossing to get value.
We just don’t do anything without crit and skyfury. So aggravating since both seem out of reach/unreliable
Was never convinced that we’d have “unhealable sustain” with 4pc/double leggo. I’ve seen locks do 8k dps without any tier/leggo x2 and struggle to close games.
Piss rot will get you a gold star on details tho

and those afflocks are now doing like 12k sustained… or if they are demo theyre just nailing people for 30k instants
Thing is with Locks it’s very clear to darkglare, soul rot and drain for a huge spike.
Ele it’s like SK and hope for the best? Even in PvE our cds are said to be lackluster. Echo earth shock?
I enjoy Ele Equib because at least when I play crit and play around big lassos on low hp/trinketless targets it feels like an actual plan/condition

thinking ahead to 10.0, I SERIOUSLY FREAKING HOPE some version of windspeaker’s lava resurgence makes it past Shadowlands. much like Stormkeeper, its an actually fun ability that feels like it should just be baseline part of the spec.

It really makes the whole spec rotate well oiled.
The maelstrom gain is so incredibly noticeable, and makes mastery appetizing.
Idk maybe I give versa > mastery/crit > haste another run.
With fire ele giving lava surges and splintered elements maybe there’s a hidden gem where Stuff Crits and Overloads happen all at once

I got sick of seeing the low dmg so I made my main enh with mastery and I hit spells harder as enh than ele…

Tho idk math, is a 5% buff to lvb actually a 12.5% increase cus of crit? Less in PvP obv
At least we get buffs… usually its just nerfs. Has been that way since classic, every class does what we do but better.
