Always. Many different ways to play based on what you want to do.
You can make a build and lean into mastery or switch it up and do something different and focus on haste.
I have been enjoying mountains will fall…people probably think I’m crazy.

It’s an end of tree talent:
"Earth Shock, Elemental Blast, and Earthquake can trigger your Mastery: Elemental Overload at 50% effectiveness.
Overloaded Earthquakes do not knock enemies down."

Give it time, you will sour to it.
Its too much work for not enough reward.
Not sure what is going on. Icyfury weaving is not good. Spenders are broken 75 MS spender is a large cost and having a cast time feels bad. The mastery fails so hard. So many talents are wasted on making the mastery good (like Mountians Will Fall) but its RNG on top of RNG.
Evokers and Mages basically make your raid spot redundant. They offer the same buffs and role, but do more damage generally and it is easier and less rng.

Glad your having fun! The fantasy is cool no doubt. The playstyle, and utility is horrible.
Nobody starts a group and says “let’s get an ele shaman” They have no hook.
All my opinion of course.

I like the fire build right now, I hated the lightning build in S2 and I didn’t play it.
Very fun and very mobile with all the procs, there is still the problem with EQ and the tank moving the mobs…
I’m a simple man. I see chain lightning light up my screen, I’m happy.
Ele is probably top 3 most fun specs to play.

Elemental overload is pretty cool.
Loved this tier as we used all of the elements. It was thematically cool and I didn’t mind the rotation. Saw fire was next set and I’m switching out. Not fun to me, personally, but I’m glad others enjoy it!

I haven’t played my ele in DF, but want to see how the new tier set works out in PVP. It will be a toss up between ele and destro though for my ranged character.
Ele is usually really fun though
Ive been hopin for rework for long time tho shaman is my fav class. Idk if shaman even has a class dev anymorelike other classes do. I have to dumb it down little cause rotation is too hard for me to do.
It is horribly annoying to use, and I so wish they’d change it. Even just let our ES buff stay up longer so we don’t have to cast it so often? That doesn’t even sound great. It would be harder to track (not fun), but at least we wouldn’t be sacrificing potentially large burst windows because we’re struggling to keep ES up at all times.
Came back to shaman finally this patch thinking they might do something to fix this issue, but they’ve literally been MIA.
Druids get tons of new skins (left out here as well), all these other classes are getting buffs and tweaks here and there… And then there is us. Just broken and not enjoyable to play.
But I want to stick it out. It is just going to be difficult this season.
