I need some help with my Elemental Shaman DPS. I’m currently playing shaman at ilvl 244, doing Mythic 0s, and planning to raid soon. What I don’t understand is why Elemental is ranked so much higher than Enhancement on tier lists. I’ve been playing both specs in Mythics, and from what I’m seeing, Enhancement does way more damage, better AoE and roughly the same single‑target.
I get that Elemental relies heavily on cooldown management and timing your big 2‑minute burst, but I’m getting frustrated because I’m constantly being out‑DPSed by most other classes. The only time I feel competitive is when I switch to Enhancement.
Is anyone else having the same issues, or is this just a matter of me needing to “learn to play” Elemental properly?
