There are a couple. Aside from Eitrigg, there’s Lantresor of the Blade, Samuro, Ronakada, Rexxar, and probably more. You can even lump in Drek’thar, but he is a First War Vet.
Hmm. Maybe answering this wasn’t such a good idea. Now Blizzard knows what other characters they have to destroy.
Kosh’harg was all about reclaiming their heritage, moving forward, bright new future, etc.
Nah, that won’t work, let’s have them go back to self-loathing, shame, wagging tails begging for scraps at the table where all the bland, boring, generic characters are eating (who have somehow been made more bland, boring, and generic than even their WC2 depictions).
I would add to that list Nazgrel, Elder & Primal Torntusk from the Revantusk tribe, Garona though she’s a bit of a special case in all regards, probably Relka Bloodfyre since she’s the last living MU Shadowmoon (last Mag’har at least), and probably a handful of oldheads among the Stonemaul clan since some of the Ogres in Dustwallow remember Rexxar recruiting them in WCIII. There’s also a Goblin zeppelin pilot who’s a Second War vet but I can’t remember his name and he’s from the Steamwheedle cartel, so not Horde anymore per say.
Primarily because they view the Alliance races as the European-centric, colonizer races. Which we all know, don’t count as their own group when it comes to diversity.
They have the order of the Garad’kra from the Bloodsworn comic, which has a cool origin and decent characters.
Blizzard could use that to not only give the Horde a cool faction, but also restore their roster of getting some actually interesting characters with a decent history, to have too.
Danath joins the Sunreavers and helps them slaughter the Silver Covenant to repair pieces of Aethas’ old staff, because Aethas tells us they are too set in their ways and there is no hope for them but death.
I mean, going into War Within I expected Xal’atath to tempt Anduin into embracing Shadow Priest powers to win his goals/save people but she went after Alleria instead.
I guess that could’ve worked. I didn’t really go into TWW with any expectations. Curiosity more than anything. I guess that why I’m not really disappointed with TWW. I did like the first half of the expac at least
K’aresh is very monotonous in all aspects, gameplay, story and aesthetics. It was a chore for me to play through and I still havent finished those damn eco dome quests.
Undermine was the peak of TWW for me. It had lots of neat places to explore, it had the drive system which made getting around fun, it had a lot of different things going on and the Cartels all felt just a little unique in the quests they offered.
I thought Undermine was amazing, was absolutely delighted from start to finish, definitely the best segment of TWW as far as I’m concerned. But I’m a Goblin fan so yeah I was the target audience.
K’aresh was cool, the zone and worldbuilding were pretty nice and it really feels like you help revive the planet. The Wastelanders’ treatment was a bit dumb though and Alleria is just not an incredibly interesting character if I may.
Undermine honestly had a really good story, and I enjoyed pretty much the whole thing. There were a few issues though, it wasn’t perfect, but overall I give it approval.
The Million Goblin March will likely be one of those remembered moments of WoW.
