This doesn’t seem right, to fix this issue you’re raising the cap by 10? So if I’m stuck at 34/50 after a full clear on heroic and normal I have to kill 16 bosses next reset? Why can’t this get mailed out?

The bosses don’t only drop 1 currency. Heroic can drop up to 3. The math is fine, though in your specific case you will need to get a little lucky. Anyone at 38/50 who is doing 5-6 bosses in Heroic and the rest on normal is probably in good shape.

OH! Okay that does make me feel better, it’s been so inconsistent that I didn’t know the drop count. Hope that in my case its nice and quick. Thanks for clearing that up.

I’ve raided LFR/N/H since it opened. Stuck at 40.

So next week, in theory, we would be able to earn all remaining we need, if reading correctly?

The cap as of time of posting is 40 - you are fine.

The currency is capped per week, so you can reach 10 on week one, 20 on week two, etc. All players who’ve been maximizing this should be done on week five.

*The additional update we made was to increase the cap for week five to 60 Echoed Ephemera.

Thanks for the update, but something feels ‘off’ with this description of how it works.

It seems like there is no point in raising the total cap to 60 if only 50 are needed. and it seems like there is actually a cap of 10 per week that has been in effect, not the ‘10 per week per week’ auto-raising cap as was originally described. Did something change after the bug was found?

So I’m guessing that the week 5 cap is actually 20 instead of the previous 10?

How long would a fresh alt take to finish the quest if they started tomorrow?

ive been raiding every week, and ive only at 39/50 for this week, somethings a miss…

LFR full clear each week.
Normal full clear 3 weeks
Normal skip clear 1 week
Few kills in Heroic each week with extra each week. Total 16 boss kills so far…

If anyone gets any kills in right after reset, please post in here if the items are dropping. Also bugged but am hesitant to go into anything right away…

If it’s still bugged and another fix is needed, we all know Blizzard will just say “TFB” to sky drops missed prior to a fix. >_>

Each boss in LFR dropped 5 Echoed Ephemera. So I had to kill 3 bosses and was done.

quest isnt worth worrying about…

0.6% dps upgrade over 2x2min target dummy runs, 1 on ST and one on MT… its pretty bad tbh, 0.6% total of 247k on 6 targets in 2 mins… dont even bother worrying about it tbh, i mean yeah great but meh.
