Take out all the changes except MMR (personal) and make it so that ten wins are needed to get points. Not just ten games.
Boom. No free rewards and all the “welfare” Haters can live happily.
They will probably still complain tbh but that’s what they live for so it is what it is.
Personally, I’d prefer if they just left the system alone entirely since authenticity should take precedence over stupid experimentation, except in extreme cases (i.e. drums).
Whether you like or dislike the rating changes, it’s reasonable to say that most people would have been more or less fine with how TBC arena originally was, and that’s reason enough to leave it alone.
We can argue how damaging the rating changes will be to arena participation, but at the end of the day, why fix what isn’t – horribly, at least – broken? Nobody I know of was complaining about welfare PvP epics.
Is Blizzard being influenced by feedback from top streamers who want to stick it to the casuals or something?
