havoc dh simplest ever, devastation evokers seem pretty simple to me also

Well, as of right now.

Ret Paladin is definitely fotm and I don’t think it’s considered “hard to play”

Some people will say DH but the momentum build is hard to play well imo, and it’s quite literally middle of the pack.

BM hunter pretty solid choice too

Pure dps rotation probably DH, and honestly I don’t think subtlety rogue is that bad in a PVE environment. Arms warriors also have pretty low APM.

Rogue difficulty ramped up considerably when you roll CC into the mix while maintaining respectable dps. I have a lot more than kick in my toolkit to help my teams (pvp and pve). Also, cloak and evasion interact with pretty much everything so you can increase uptime by knowing mechanics. Vanish also can completely negate mechanics in PVE (like the spear on final boss in NO).

Bit surprised no one has mentioned Evoker yet… gotta be the easiest spec Ive ever played, its basically just spam azure stike nonstop until disintegrate/Fireball is off cooldown while you wait on your two empower abilities, I could probably program a computer to play this class for me on auto and im not even good at programming.

beastmaster hunter is so braindead my 87 year old grandma could probably play it effectively

that’s just not true, people still belive in this outdated meme. Then someone starts playing DF demon hunter and can’t understand rotation that has more active abilities than fury warrior and frost death knight combined

For PvE, the answer is BM hunter and it isn’t even close…well it kind of is I guess. Havoc is also very brain dead easy, but BM hunters literally have the best of all worlds. They have a babymode easy DPS “rotation” that gives them the full advantages of being range while having 0 of the downsides. They also have an on demand fully capable tank that also contributes a sizeable portion of DPS for the times when even pushing buttons themselves is too much.

They also have the most sought after group utility buff in the game as well as a combat drop and immunity which they sacrifice nothing for.

Edit - I also forgot to mention that while less important or sought after, they also bring the universal CC. A pull going sideways an a caster of some type is giving you trouble from afar? Can a mage sheep it? A warlock banish it? A priest shackle it? A DH imprison it? The answer to any of those questions is “maybe”…but regardless of the answer, it if can be CC’d in any way, a hunter can absolutely do it. No thought needed. Demon? Trappable. Abberation? Trappable. Humanoid? Trappable. Beast? Trappable.
