It is possible Blizzard will reduce the # of layers per server this weekend to try to force others to transfer than with increased queue times. If you recall during launch they increased the server capacities to help alleviate queues. They may remove that thus bringing back larger queues again and forcing players hands to move.
Yes on Herod. I queued sometime before 9:30 and I remember being in game at 11 because I said I have an hr to get WC done before I go to bed at 12.
It didnt happen though. Drama between the tank and guilded other 3 members.

No, my post simply suggests that things may yet improve. And if they don’t, I doubt Blizzard will leave a ghost server. Give them a hot second to monitor, as the transfers were just initiated.

So glad I rolled to Blaumeux on day 2 after the horrible queues on Whitemane. High pop realm with our queue times only ever being at like 5-10 minutes at its worst when we do get queues. Yeah, it sucked having to re level, but it was worth it. Too many stubborn people on those realms lol.

No OP made the post today and is talking about Earthfury which was made available for transfers on Sept 4th at 7pm PDT.
Isn’t that one of the realms that was locked, so only people who can play are the transferees? Until it gets opened to public

Earthfury is open, it didnt change a thing and it wont. Everyone who wanted to play is now playing at this point, people arent breaking down the gates to start new characters now.
Its been open to the public for about 16 hours, give or take I think now. I now it was open last night

Chill. It’s because the server isn’t open for anything other than transfers yet. Once character creation on it is unlocked, it will grow. I expect it to fill out this weekend.
Curious as to how the weekend queues will impact folks’ decision to switch.

You following? Its been open, Earthfury was the first of the servers to get Xfers, no one is creating characters on this server.
actually I saw people making characters to laugh at us on the server for it being empty

This has always been an issue with free transfers from High pop servers. The new server is always too low to support an economy, because of this people have learned not to transfer off the high pop servers.
So basically nothing. Just thoughts and prayers, got it.
