I’m fine with how it is. But I play Evoker, so I know how to use the abilities and I’m used to it.

I found it fun to use on my lowbie Earthen. But I hate the “no food” bs and just quit playing him.

I was using it while questing to help kill elites and rares. But again, it was lowbie questing. I don’t even know how it scales at high levels.

Why did you get upset about your post?

Your opinion wasn’t bad or wrong or anything. And I hope it wasn’t because of my posts. I was just throwing out my opinion on the racials as a lowbie. Which I know is oftentimes irrelevant to people. That’s why I wanted to specify that part.

I was about 7 when she was playing that character. I was not introduced to Howdy Doody until Back to the Future :smiley: But my dad (who is almost 80) constantly had movies from the 40s-60s on the TV, so I have an appreciation of the past.

He believes that the power up style of the Earthen racial is useless and annoying, so he proposed a change to make it an instant cast or something like that? I can’t quite remember. There was nothing wrong with his comment, though, and I thought our conversation was friendly and mild. :frowning:

That’s a great suggestion to be honest. Afaik i don’t think it was a gain to press.

I mean, I haven’t played an Earthen, so I’m prepared to take OP at face value it would work better as a different cast type

It’s like an Evoker empowered ability.

Azerite Surge: Draw upon your inner strength. Release to invoke the power of Azerite on a cone in front of you, dealing Fire damage. 2 minute cooldown. This is an empowered spell that gains additional effects as you empower it:

  • I: Deals Fire damage.

  • II: Heals allies hit by the effect.

  • III: Deals additional Fire damage to the highest health enemy hit by the effect.

I think OP wanted something like having it do all of that at once without the empower. So just one instant cast does it all.
