With Blizzard nerfing the Earthen Dwarf racial for exploration XP, i think its time they get a bit of an overhaul with their racials. I love the Earthen and would totally play one but im nerfing myself if i do because of the Well Fed racial they have. I believe Blizzard should remove the well fed racial and replace it with something else, like a flat stat increase would be nice like how some other races have. Also in the character creation screen it says they have a racial of Restoring health and mana out of combat but that racial is no obsolete since everyone can do that now with the general spell they added. So now we have a nerfed XP racial, a bad well fed racial and a useless healing racial. The only useful racial they have is a slight gathering increase and armor increase. Both of which are still very bad. Please Blizzard at least replace the well fed racial with a stat increase and i will give you my money and race change in a heartbeat. Thank you
I think they also need a massive customization overhaul. They are easily one of the ugliest races we have.
I love the gem look on them, but thats all we really have to customizer besides the basic stuff that every other race has. Hair, face, beards, etc. Id love to see more!
Imo they just look greasy vs shiny. I want more natural tones.

They are actually buffing the well fed racial to compensate for the nerf. Idk how it’ll compare to BiS foods still, but I’d say if you genuinely like them play one, although I doubt they’re going to get anything as impactful as Dwarf/DID racials since they’re straight up some of the best in the game across the board.
Personally I’d rather keep the exploration bonus how it is, but is what it is.
I have not heard about the well fed buff. I mustve missed it if anything. I would just love them to either remove the well fed or overbuff it to compensate for not being able to get primary stats. A racial like Dwarf/DID would be nice but i doubt it would happen

Its not that serious to me but i guess we get to feel everyone else’s “growing pains” too. I just started to lvl to 90 so its going to be as “painful” as me leveling my other alts from 80 - 90

Just a garbage, boring race overall. I actually got an Earthen lock to look reasonably good for a walking slab of stone during Lemix, though. The double-braids help a bit.
Oh, and bearded ladies are a war crime. I mean, play one if you like it, but it’s an ick for me bro. My lock definitely had no bloody beard.
At least the criminally-underused Mechagnomes inherit Gnomish cuteness. Earthen inherited jack squat that’s endearing really.
