Mechagnomes death knight exist, and yes, they are still organic in nature, but whatever magic juice is raising them is also making their cyber prosthetics work.

The fact it works on humans is all we need to know.
People forget that like 75% of playable races started as titan constructs made of stone or metal.
They didn’t just “develop souls” from the curse of the flesh - they already had them.

It’s well stated by the devs that only beings extremely concentrated in the element return to the planes of existence.
This is why nathrezim return to the twisting nether - they are death creatures, but they have completely allowed fel to take over.
And even using your logic - Argus was sent to the Shadowlands because he was purged of his corruption at the moment of his death - so titan souls (and thus, order) would go to the Shadowlands.

Just to formulate my opinion, i do think earthen DKs are within the technicality of possible by the magic system, but not possible on a timeline basis. While i do believe the ebon blade still has the power to raise DKs, i don’t think they are doing it at this point.
So I’m fine either way.

This is irelevant, the point is earthen can be DKs. The issue is an intro set in the proper timeline
… literally everywhere in the lore, seeing as how those are the only times DKs have been raised: by the sword, by the artifacts and by the helm’s power.
Bolvar no longer has the power of the helm. Sword is broken. Artifacts were drained. Those pieces were the key to raising DKs specifically.
