Having to dread myself through the rage inducing nonsense doesn’t seem worth it.
Wouldn’t exactly say this is the norm, you were able to filter awful players when you made your own teams in LFG. Which was also always a mixed bag, you could at least tell when someone failed upwards with the amount of games they’d played for the season with their W-L or their seasonal history. Right now though, anyone getting into BG Blitz fresh without any previous MMR in that bracket will be struggling to maintain sanity.
At least for my solo shuffle pushes it puts me back at a higher MMR so I’m out of the bad games a lot quicker.
no, i don’t want to play with EU players and have terrible ping. Also queues have been fine for me. Roll a healer.

This is really a game wide problem. Healers (and tanks) aren’t as fun to play right now, leading to all kinds of problems and shortages.
So I amend my advice:
- Make tanks and healers fun again
- Make dps do less work
- Give a faster path for PvP gear to gain PvE item levels.
I feel you but that is a side effect of a much smaller self selecting population. I hit elite both blitz and arena solo ( I pvp for mog admittedly). If I was being honest I think I would cap out at roughly 2500 solo arena and 2900 solo blitz.
Blitz is easier but breaking out of the 2k mmr rank is horribly rngish unless you play a healer.
This sound’s like a good way to take thing’s from “dwindling” to non existant.
Wont connect EU with NA. People from both sides would get screwed by latency
