As title says the queue/lfg times can be felt pretty hard, like for example if you played BFA>SL>DF>TWW you can definitely see the difference… sitting on a 30 minute solo shuffle queue at 0 ranking is just not normal or at least it shouldn’t be, a similar decrease in listings can be seen in LFG for 2s,3s and even M+
Yes, some of it has to do with the fact that now we have more than one WoW version running at the same time like Classic or MMOS in general becoming smaller as a genre, regardless tho that is even more reason to allow EU and US queues to be connected.
However implement it as an option to be toggled similar to how some games have ‘‘crossplay’’ as a toggle for those who don’t wanna deal with higher ping.
Its not really viable to keep playing a game where 70% of your in game time is spent trying to queue/lfg
I haven’t really noticed a difference in queues this expansion. Players are still running stuff at just about every hour of the day. I would suggest providing more than anecdotal evidence.
Considering the ping difference and you are talking PVP where ping matters, IMO you don’t know what you are really asking for…
I think the problem is asking WHY people aren’t queueing for content that you wish to do.
Like I don’t do arena, but I can tell you for pvp the comp stomp is under 3mins any time of the day and since that gives enough free honor to get someone geared in like 2hrs it is going to have fast queues. Random BGs is like 5-8mins for me, and I can see why people don’t queue as much…it needs to be more rewarding for people.
Also, I think they just need to fix pvp. Some classes are just extremely good vs other classes. (Yeah always was this way but the players aren’t the same as 10-20 years ago.)
A bigger player pool won’t help that, unless you think euro players are more likely to take responsibility instead of always scumming as dps. Prob correct there.
well of course ques are slow atm, we’re nearing the end of the season, theres like 4 different versions of wow atm, and theres a leveling event in retail thats pulling people away from max level content
Queue as a tank, you get pretty dang fast queue’s. Healers too.
It’s just an overabundance of dps players. This isn’t anything new.
Dude clearly never queue’d Alterac Valley back in the day. lol. You think 30 mins is a long time… Try 4 hour queue’s for one BG. You have nothing to complain about.
You’d just be adding even more dps players to an already long list of dps players that the game has to sort through before it gets to you. Nothing would change. There might be more instances running, but you’d still be in the queue the same amount of time.
The problem is a lack of tank and healer players queueing up, so the dps line sits still for longer.
Remember, there are time zones differences. They are about 6 hours ahead of us. So by the time we get home from work and are ready for an evening of game playing, they are past midnight and going off to sleep.
This was the worst decision ever imo. I know everyone wanted wow classic but it really effected que times and such. Now we even have wow hardcore…like maaaaan!
