And I know with my mag’har warrior pet HP bonus is so useful…or not. Ancestors racial technically still usable. Its RNG infested crap but even a bad roll does something. I guess…

New Dwarf Racial: My BOOMSTICK! CD: 2 mins. Range 15 yards. Pulls out your trusty boomstick and take a shot at the enemy dealing 2% max health damage and slows the enemy by 50% for 2 seconds.
Dwarves were among the original cast of characters in vanilla. So where is the dwarf based xpac or major patch (Mechagon)? What are we, worgen?
New Dwarf Racial: Let’s get pissed! While Drunk, your abilities deal 2% more damage.

Imagine how you’d feel if you were a new player in Shadowlands, got to level 60 then wanted to level an alt. Only, what’s this? Before you can fast-track your alt through the Shadowlands content you have to do Loremaster for all the past expansions as well as Pathfinder and Explorer?
There’d be a riot if Blizzard tried to force that on folks. You thought BFA and Legion weren’t friendly to alts? Just take a look at this hot mess.
If folks want to explore the quests and lore of past expansions, that is entirely on them. They should not be forced to do so if they don’t want to.
Ok @OP. I could prolly count how many people who have cared about the Dwarf’s archeology racial in the last decade on one hand but whatever.
As for the OP
I think Archeology is probably going to get a rework, which is why they’re not making it available immediately in Shadowlands. The fact that there is an NPC for Archeology in Oribos does seem to imply that it will be available at some point, just not right away.
Should get rid of Archeology and bring back First Aid
Kinda like our racial that only kills critters.

I must be one of those. I’m almost 800 archaeology on my dwarf hunter. Wouldn’t have done it on any of my other toons.

With Shadowlands, I’m actually thinking that having First Aid as a stand alone profession might have been good. I never really liked that they removed it and shoved it onto Tailoring.
What about Dark Iron? Did we get any more Mole Machine locations?
Secondary professions have been a little lackluster for a while. First aid was killed, cooking only competes food drops, mages and vendors with the minor bonuses for eating, fishing is a grindfest that gets you… well, fish for cooking.
I still remember the quest for runecloth bandages.
The triage in Theramore was almost nerve-wracking way back then.

As for rego Dwarfs. My suggestions to change Explorer racial :
Passive : You start with all flightpaths discovered, traveling to an uncharted area grants 500% experience bonus
Passive : When in dungeons you have a chance to loot a random lost relic. Lost Relics provide a temporary 30 min buff in dungeon. Both the effect and relic will decay after leaving the dungeon.
a. Lost Tankard of Anvilmar - grants slight bonus to their main stat
b. Hammer of Sulfuric Lightning - adds a small chance to both stun and burn your target
c. Ring of the Immortal Thane - increases all damage and healing by 1%
Active Ability : Scout an area of the map, revealing all treasure, ore, herbs and rare creatures in that area for 30 seconds. 30 min CD.
Remember when it was “Treasure Tracking” and while many though that useless… being able to see the location of required quest items on the mini map was great! We used to also be the only one to see chest locations too… back when chests were hidden all over.
If they don’t want to give us that back, why not just make “Explorer” a speed bonus while outside of something
