"Dust ’Em Off" - Blue Dot, No Moth

Hello,

I’m reporting a bug preventing completion of the “Dust ’Em Off” achievement.

I am currently 118/120, but the remaining moths are not interactable. The map displays a blue dot indicating their location, however, no moth appears to click.

This issue occurs at the following coordinates:

  • 41.59, 27.44

  • 56.58, 47.65

I have tested this across three different characters. In some cases the blue dot appears, in others it does not, but in all cases the moths themselves are missing and cannot be interacted with.

Because of this, I am unable to complete the achievement as intended.

Could you please investigate and fix this issue so the moths properly appear and can be collected?

Is it a question of elevation? There have been some really well-hidden ones I’ve come across, particularly on the tall mushroom looking structures.

I do agree with you. I have watched multiple videos on their exact location, and mine are not visible (aka clickable) in their spot… i need to get some screen shots. :heart:

some problem, i have 116/120 D:

Can see the blue point in minimap but dont see de moth and I can’t interact with it.

The following coordinates are I have trouble:

41.59 27.44
40.44 34.46
50.63 40.62
56.50 47.56

I hope blizard fix this, i want that mount

Try using an addon called Dustlord it has pin locations for every moth and a timestamp link to a youtube video showing each one looted. I did all 120 in the past day with no issue.

Funny, I’m having the opposite issue. I have ~10 moths left. I was flying around for 25 minutes driving myself crazy. Then I spot a moth that is not marked on the mini-map. I’m renown 12. Sure enough, I went to the first coords that you posted and the moth is there - but again not on the mini-map! How frustrating is that?

I submitted 2 requests and reopened the last request 3 times to get a GM to address the issue and get this escalated, but I was told to look in the bug forum to see if development gets it fixed. Very frustrating - PLEASE ESCALATE to get this resolved.

I have this same issue and have for 3 weeks. Been going back and forth with support and they say it’s a non issue cause im the only one having it

same issue.

118/120, i can see the dots on my map, but no moths.

interestingly, att says the dots were “completed by: (character)” but if i log onto that character there’s no dot, or a moth for them. all my other chars can see dot, but don’t have a moth.

so, i need the one at 50.62, 40.54, which att says was “completed” by my druid, but if i fly my druid out there, no dot on the map, and no moth anywhere.

i also need the one at 40.47, 34.47 which is “completed” by my hunter, but my hunter doesn’t see the dot or the moth.

my evoker, who hasn’t “completed” either, can see both dots on the map, but neither moth.

very annoying

Some of the markers may be off someone made an addon on curse called dustlord i just recently got all 120 with no issue. it even has a video link to each moth if its hard to see.

Im having this exact issue. Support says they cant help me cause no one else is having this issue. Dust em off is all I need for meta achievement so im missing out on 2 mounts cause im 118 of 120 and moths arent there. Blue dots on all characters except my main. And no moth

I have tried the add on and all the videos. Its like I picked them up and they weren’t counted but show up for rest of my alts

I have been having this same issue and been getting the same responce from the support that they are working on it. but I still cant the last one i need.
