Dungeons not fun and its not even Blizzards Fault

I’m responding to someone who questioned my experiences. Would you imagine what. I didn’t make up some fake account.

Sôsari - Achievements (Feats of Strength) (worldofwarcraft.com)

What are you talking about? Feats can only be earned while they are life and current.

And I have raised 3 kids and had a wife for 12 years… You want something for me to prove that too?

I didn’t read thru 800 replies but IMO, the tank should just say right from the start how he/she wants to play it. A simple one line sentence. Then everyone knows what to expect and they can leave if they don’t like it.

Seriously, I’ve done 40 heroic dungeons and I think 2 people said hello out of the 40. I at least put a smile face 8) when all 5 people are in and always say thank you at the end. The rudeness and non social attitudes of most people are horrendous these days :slightly_frowning_face:

I never questioned your experiences… There is that complex again

Was I talking about you just now?

And this is the mindset that gets you in trouble to begin with.

Confidence is one thing. Confidence is a very good thing and being confident in your abilities is crucial in life. I’m very confident in myself and my abilities and will never fault anyone else for being confident in themselves. It’s the god complex where you think you don’t need the healer and that you can just run in and do whatever you want and survive. And as you and the paladin have made it quite clear: Without the healer, the dungeon’s not going to be happening.

Again you realize your talking to a DK right, ya know the tank known for healing himself like since forever

you quoted me and under it was that response … who is confused?

Key word is “Someone”. Are things moving too fast for you to understand what’s going on?

Sounds like your tanking

Sounds like you wouldn’t know what good tanking is if you saw it.

They’re all designed for mythic+. Its all about speedruns now. I find myself struggling to keep up with the pace and it’s mentally draining for me. I also can’t learn how to heal on my Evoker because I already need to know what I’m doing due to the kamikaze style of most players. Been that way since BfA so I do them all once for the associated quests and just to see it for myself, then never touch them again.

What does this have to do with WoW dungeons though ?

I don’t want to know what you had for diner either, we’re talking dungeons, not Wendy’s.

I’ve never been in trouble.

Its not the fact that it has anything to do with dungeons its just the fact that you seem to think that you have done something that is so great that puts you in another category that you can ultimately talk down to people for. Both you and the Pally have proven you suffer from some sort of superiority complex.

Then why bring it up ?

We’re talking dungeons here.

Your experience (or lack thereof) in dungeons is all that matters.

No, you don’t understand. They are the exception to this rule. They’re just too darn good at this game to actually fail. They’re better than the rest of us lowly commonfolk.

No, what you and the priest don’t get is if you disrupt a very easy dungeon with bickering, you’re getting kicked and replaced with someone who’s there to press W and get loot.

It’s go time, not bickering time.

Again, you do not know my experience in dungeons and you think that just because its not on this account, you can hold it out there like its something you have that I dont.

This thread is making me wish Blizzard would add a “casual” flag or something you can select for LFG to help with this issue for players.

There is definitely some toxicity in this thread crapping on each others’ preferred playing style. M+ was added for a certain group of players who wanted more challenge(s). I think though, it’s had an unfortunate effect on the casual players.

One issue in this thread that strikes me is that there’s no singular “right way” to play this game, BUT the more competitive players seem to typically try and put down casual players. Plenty of examples of that in this thread.

It’s a bit of insanity trying to convince the other side here. M+ players aren’t going to have their minds changed and neither are the mostly casual players.

Of course we do.

That’s how many Dungeon feats you have.

There’s a single playstyle that wins in game : fast.

Only on GD do you get daisy sniffers promoting their playstyle. In game, no one wants to take 20 minutes to do something that can be accomplished in 10. The reward is the same.
