Target priority? Do you mean have a mage slow while a lock seeds?
Let me give you a tank’s perspective.
Time is money, friend.
If I can clear a dungeon in 5-10 minutes with an average of say, max two items (usually zero or one really, but I digress) per run, will it make more sense for me to clear the most dungeons in the shortest amount of time or sight-see and spend 30-45 minutes on every dungeon?
I want to be clear I understand your frustration, the problem is that M+ is coming soon and it’s most beneficial for a tank to get used to dungeons being fast-paced so as to maximize return on investment when M+ goes live. That being said, if at the start of a dungeon you request we not rush, if I’ve got time I’ll accommodate that request.
When M+ releases shortly you won’t really have as bad of a situation as you do now unless you’re doing M+. Players that want to “take it slow” can just queue for N-M and at that point the majority of M+ tanks and players will no longer be in the same pool of available players. Make sense?
Three little bears bro, need get get the pourage thats just right.
These things are instrumental practice because they work. Why would you actively choose to make the game harder on yourself by not using all the tools available to you?
Not the point at all, but I’m done here. Got a game to play.
I mean killing the NPC that casts heals instead of mindlessly spamming a poorly optimized DPS rotation. I actually pugged Shattered Halls on Heroic back in the day, it was a nightmare and if I recall correctly I was stuck in there for about two hours because of it.
Did u not have a seed machine and a slow machine lol
I am curious what your point is though! It seems like you’re suggesting that addons somehow sully the game in some way? I just want some clarification!
what is so hard to understand about the word…“random”? thats the dices you roll when you que in RANDOM dungeon finder.
may get a slow group, may get a fast group.
right now is gonna be faster paced because people are getting ready for mythics.
as others have stated, you could always…idk…make your own group
NGL when I’ve ran Brackenhide for the hundredth time and haven’t gotten my trinket from the tree boss, I don’t want to spend time dealing with facepulls from people who don’t know the dungeon or people who want to give me 5 stacks of the plague debuff and die and have to walk back from the checkpoint. Sorry not sorry.
My pull rate depends on my groups gear… I should be in heroics / M0’s b y now, but comfort level isn’t there yet…
I’ve done slower pulls, and faster and not had any real compliants… I had two groups actually thankful I slowed down so they could see mechanics in action
I lol at this all the time. After your first few runs of dungeons yeah it might be nice to stop and check it out…but hours later of farming the same dungeons over and over…you eventually get to a point where you want it to be over with as fast as possible. How many times do you need to see the dungeon and respect it?
No, but ignoring tools that you can freely use to make the experience much easier makes you a bit of an idiot.
And a video game shouldn’t put you in a position where you’re the idiot because you’re not using third party tools. Mods should exist to cater to preferences and tastes. Maybe someone doesn’t like a specific UI. Maybe someone wants to hear Owen Wilson say, “Wow!” every time they crit.
Mods should not exist to fill a function Blizzard isn’t providing themselves. And in the case of mods like DBM… I mean, that isn’t new. Blizzard’s had over a decade to fill that need.
I dont mind speed pullers but use some CDs. Sick of seeing tanks pulling the entire room and melt like butter
I could clear it in 10 minutes.
Shoulda went with the Paladin tank. Warrior tanks were bad at TBC dungeons.
I feel you there. It’s why I love my prot warrior/trinkets. Azure Vaults/Brackenhide trinket is tank prebis trinket guaranteed
Blizzard has come to rely far too much on people making AddOns to make their game playable instead of actually giving better visual queues and whatnot **** is happening that needs to be taken care of.
I think occasionally this would be lots of fun. As Stradkiller said, “roleplay and spend forever,” is not a bad thing. And as others point out, looking at the place. Some / most dungeons are beautifully art directed. More ppl would do dungeons if some stress were removed.
LoL, I joined a community where we were supposed to walk the dungeons, but no one ever did any! But it’s still a good idea.
I fully agree but they can’t make them like that anymore or else M+ players would be forced to think instead of just spamming AoE and AoE stuns… like imagine if mobs had reflective shields that reflected all AoE damage.
Halls of Infusions the best dungeon
Well, my main was a warrior at the time, I was playing on a smaller server, and I had to work with what I had.
And no, paladins are gross.
