Dungeon Tuning Incoming - September 9

This week, with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments:

Dungeons

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes

  • Trilling Attendant
    • Resonant Barrage initial cooldown increased, ability cooldown increased by 50%, and periodic damage reduced by 12.5%.
  • Engorged Crawler
    • Venomous Spit ability cooldown increased by 40%.
  • Avanoxx
    • Starved Crawler health reduced by 20%.
    • Gossamer Onslaught periodic damage reduced by 17%.
  • Anub’zekt
    • Addressed an issue with Eye of the Swarm, where the rim visual is larger than the actual safe zone.

Halls of Atonement

  • Reduced the numbers of Depraved Obliterators and Depraved Collectors near each Shard of Halkias.
  • Reduced the density of creatures in the courtyard before Echelon.
  • Enemy forces requirement reduced by 10%.
  • Stoneborn Slasher enemy force value increased by 50%.

Thanks on this one. Just had a death standing well within the circle in a 10 CoE. It was embarrassing but we timed.

It’s the retribution boss fight in (insert battleground). It’s a 5 phase fight and missing one mechanic is a one-shot. I hear it is worse than Ky’veza hard mode.

Thank god for those halls changes.

This is fine.

I don’t know why you buffed poison dots when you learn your lesson about dispels in TWW S1.

This is fine, you probably want to address voidbound on hulk DR aura.

I don’t know how you allowed the current HoA goes live. I don’t have any idea how you don’t tune HoA until now but at least this is not too late like TWW S1 did

Dungeons are also pvp because you need to compete for a higher io score than other players in order to get mplus rank one so my point still stands.

Nobody cares about ret in dungeons. They are doing alright and not really much more.

So these complaints should be in the class tuning thread with PvP changes that they already have rolling.

It’s crazy cuz these were all reported on PTR lol. Better late than never.

Neat, Halls kinda felt like a slog with all the required mobs so needing fewer will definitely make the dungeon more enjoyable; and Ara’kara was the only one that still felt designed like as season one dungeon, so pretty horrible.
