Dungeon Tuning Incoming - August 19

With weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments to Dungeons:

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes

  • Avanoxx
    • Gossamer Onslaught’s missile damage reduced by 50%.

Tazavesh, the Veiled Market

  • Mythic+ timer increased to 35 minutes (was 34 minutes).
  • P.O.S.T. Master
    • Now starts gaining energy after 12 seconds of casting Unstable Goods (was 6 seconds).
  • Myza’s Oasis
    • Total number of enemy waves reduced to 2 (was 3).
  • Commander Zo’far
    • Health reduced by 16%.
    • Enemy forces value increased by 25%.

Please stop lol… Instead of making a dungeon an hour long, how about reducing the insane amount of trash in there Or cutting more health even more.

I have to agree… As much as I like Tazavesh, super long M+s just aren’t as fun imo.

So have we ever considered that maybe instead of having 40 minute timers we should…ya know… not have mobs walking around with 400 million health and bosses with 1.6 billion?

It is almost like playing with mob % and timers is a bad thing…

Commander should just be removed, most groups are gonna keep skipping him. Good changes otherwise.

Still though, ya’ll need to look at the enormous size of streets and not do that anymore for future M+ dungeons. 5 bosses, a bunch of unskippable RP, and that massive gauntlet in the Oasis wing that can’t be sped up, is all a fantastic example of bad M+ design.

I will take a one hour dungeon vs the 4 hours BRD was back in the day. :woman_shrugging:

Lmfao what? There really isnt that much trash. Its the wait times and the fact theres 5 bosses.

Maybe a better way to deal with streets is to have one of the middle 3 bosses that are in buildings shut off each week so it’s a 4 boss dungeon and just rotate which boss is turned off.

Where’s the tuning on HoA? HoA % count is completely asinine, and tanks have to pull pretty much everything

Same… just cut the boss hp a bit instead

ALL M+ dungeons should be able to be ran in 8 mins … and add mob density as well and HP/MP as you climb … +22 should be 30 mins and 88% more of everything but then again i have no idea … to include 88% larger aggro range

they increased the percentages and boss health of almost every dungeon coming into this tier

Yeah, we’re still skipping this awful miniboss. Just remove it from the dungeon entirely.

Yeah that explains why it feels like I was in a key for an hour straight, because I basically was. Smh… I dunno how long they can keep this up.

How does increasing the timer threshold increase the overall time it takes to complete a dungeon? That doesn’t make any sense.

The last Streets run I did was a +6 and we cleared it in 25 minutes without doing any fancy skips.

Week 1-3 is the real ptr tester of the season. They tune the dungeon difficult for the 0.0001% because they’re in ptr with their premade group clearing 16-20, making blizzard seem it’s too easy.

The timer was increased by 1 minute. How do you figure that it’s now an hour long?

It’s now 35 min, where did you get 40 from? Can’t you people read?

So… how about fixing the stupid dragon in the 2nd wing of Tasavesh because that thing is a pugging nightmare…
